The Collapse Of The U.S. Dollar

he's 100% right!

the last act of any govt is to loot the Nation, Where's that 24 Trillion again

Have You been living under a rock? This news is late as all hell. Glad to see You have woke up.

I think eventually it will happen because the world will stop supporting our bullshyt spending habits. Whether it happens next year or 30 years from now is the question.

My question is, isn't our economy big enough and diverse enough that we could rely on ourselves. I'll admit I don't know much the economy, but it seems like we could produce, sell and buy enough things ourselves that we could be dependent on ourselves as a country. Would we really need a significant amount of trade in order to sustain ourselves. I know the country would take a terrible hit initially...but don't we produce enough of everything we need; cars, food, electronics, medicine, clothes, etc that we could sustain ourselves in the long run?

Or do I have this shyt completely ass backwards?

You see what so many well-informed monetary theorists see.

However, it won't be just the dollar that falls. It will be the world financial system based on the IMF, World Bank, and Bank of International Settlements.

The whole thing is unsustainable and it's just a matter of time before it all collapses. Just ask yourself, what do I buy that has any lasting value and won't be worthless in a few years?

You're right. It's obvious. It's beneficial. It works. In fact, it's the way it worked in the US until about 1980. Then, Globalism and Free Trade hit (Reaganomics), and the world hasn't looked back.

Unfortunately, globalism and free trade always end in disaster, too!

You have perfectly described the way an economic system normally works. However, these are not normal economic times, which means its time is limited.

Could you give an example, not saying your not correct, but historically I imagine there are examples I could look up.

First, you need to look at the British Free Trade System (Globalism).

I posted a YouTube video called "1932. A True History of the United States". Do a search here or on YouTube.

The first part explains how the British Free Trade System worked. You can skip the second part because it's just white-boy worship of FDR. :smh: But, I have never seen any material cover British Free Trade quite the way the first half of this video does.

From there, I would suggest looking into how the British set up their legal frameworks and government to justify Free Trade & Globalism.

A really good series to watch is the Ascent of Money. It is a 4-part series, covering the rise of Free Trade and Globalism. It conveniently skips the outrage of central banking and the role of racism in government policy, but it is still an excellent series.

With this start, you can delve into other historical examples of Free Trade/Globalism in France, the Netherlands, and Spain. However, Britain was the biggest and most dominant.

In every case, free trade/globalism led to ceaseless wars and eventual overthrow of the government through defeat or revolution. It's a real path to success.

Just asking,

Are you saying that "Free Trade" and "Globalism" are one and the same ???

When discussing multinationals, the free trade system and globalism are synonymous, in my descriptions.

For political purposes, globalism began with the birth of globalist organizations like the League of Nations.

As I see it...

Free Trade -> Nationalism -> Racism -> Globalism (and none of these are good)

I saw this chart about 6 months ago but. . . . . it speaks for itself, we are no where near the bottom of this.

The banking system and the creation of the "dollar" messed up the whole "economic system" from the jump....
