I asked you "who came between the doc & the patient"? I have my beliefs but I'm interested in your view. Enlighten me
I responded. I want to hear your "beliefs."

thats just it, get the govt out of the way & re-establish the doc/patient relationship. I simply see it as more affordable with less bureaucracy
How is the “government” in the way doc/patient relationships? Help me.
not exactly, "Conservative approach to spending" like Norway! Maybe, then we could entertain healthcare reform or maybe, we can get the govt "out of the mix" and re-establish the doctor/patient relationship
How are they not in the way?

I'll let you figure it out. Ever needed a doctor lately?

Ok, if you can’t back up your statement, I will let you wallow in your ideological world. Ignorance is bliss.
Just watching the govt manage TARP backs up any claim I may have til the End of Time.
You still haven't told me how is the governemnt between doctor/patient relationship?
Due to the expense of health care (which I attribute to inflationary monetary policies), citizens turn to Medicare/Medicaid. Some doctors have become so frustrated with the paperwork, underpayments, and the liability that they incur for mistakes in coding their forms, that they will no longer take Medicare/Medicaid patients.
Let alone by the partial payments by Medicaid to health care providers to further the disconnect between docs & patients
To cut through your dribble, you can see any doctor you want with Medicaid. My parents are very elderly and they have had no issues what-so-ever with Medicaid. Unlike my issuance which is/was with two of the largest and wealthiest corporations in the world. I had an operation and they failed to respond fastest enough which required me to have emergency surgery. The heath insurance provider fucked up so bad they paid everything, without question almost $100,000 worth, on the threat I would sue them. Try again.
Every doctor does not accept Medicaid. Many don't due to low reinbursements. Hospitals, yes for emergencies but not every doctor in private practice or specilists.

Thought, If you recall, I was asking a question in hopes to learn more about the subject. But if you want to try to corner me into taking a position on an issue, I'm gonna tell you what I've experienced and what I've read. And No, I haven't had any need to go to the doctor. I run 3 miles every mornin, don't drink, don't smoke & try to eat right (I'm scared of goin to the hospital to be honest.) I'm limited to semi-annual physicals and Vitamin C
In regards to Norway, (which is the subject of the thread), they have a frugal govt so they can entertain providing these services to their people. But if you're trying to sell me on the fact that this govt can manage health-care, you're smokin, like I said Look At TARP!
I am very health too, but during my exercise regime, I have been injured and in addition, I did have a severe case of pneumonia, brought on by close contact with chemical cleaners. You can be the healthiest person and still need medical attention. My first encounter with the medical system other than my childhood bumps and bruises was at age 36 and I was mister fuck everyone else too, before that point. The older you get the more you will be involved with the heath care system whether you like it or not. Fortunately, I have had good m medical insurance. However, I know many people who have had horror stories and the fact is many businesses spend so much time coordinating medical insurance for their employees, they neglect time on their core business functions. I can give you my take, but it may run counter to you political beliefs.
Thank you, thats all I was asking. I'm still forming my political beliefs (in regards to healthcare). You should know by now, sometimes I agree with the "right" sometimes I don't. But I stand by what I said about Norway's situation, when a govt is frugal, they can entertain providing services for their citizens. Our situation is quite the opposite!

OBJECTION. The answer is totally unresponsive to the question.
QueEx
sure it was, in short, the actions of Medicaid/Medicare are hurting the doctor/patient relationship. Whether it be from partial payments /underpayments
Site the complaints. Medicaid/Medicare has not missed a payment in 45 years. I will make it easier for you. Who complains more? Medicaid/Medicare recipients or manages private medical insurance recipients? Come on Lamarr, this is you chance “to learn” more about the subject, but it seems you are stuck on ideology.
Here's my take on everything.
Why not just give the private insurance incentives to keep the insurance lower, and to keep coverage on more people?
If the price is too high for private insurance, give the private insurance company a reason to lower its prices instead of creating another bureaucracy.

An admission that the free market is no place for health care.
Thank you!
My point is they have VAST natural wealth compared to the size of their population.
Britain is like 15 times bigger!
To me, this is just another white-boy dick sucking contest to talk about how great the honkey is when it is entirely circumstantial.
There are plenty of African nations with vast natural wealth, so why aren't they reaping the benefits? And why is no one questioning why these honkeys are stealing their wealth. But they sure are quick to make African nations look bad, destabilize their societies, and sell them weapons.

looks to me like Norway is being smart by not engaging in war, they have no debt.
