Just last night, I was on my health walk and meditating on relationships. I recalled the words of a Pakistani co-worker. His marriage was arranged by his parents; he didn't meet his wife until his wedding day. I asked him how he felt about that.

"My wife is almost perfect; better than anyone I could have chosen myself. But that was only to be expected.

"My mother chose her. No one loves me more than my mother. No one knows me better than my mother. No one looks out for me better than my mother. My parents knew and got along well with my In-laws; and now, so do I. Nadia's parents were looking out for her, too.

"A parent can be objective when choosing a mate for their child at a time when the child's objectivity is over-ruled by hormones...."

If he always spoke this kinda truth instead of going off on on irrelevant shit about jews, he'd have millions more followers.

Never gonna forgive him for being in onthe plot against Brother Malcolm, but he's one of our best leaders anyway.

Man this is so on point.

I've had a lot of people try their best to question my relationships because they were so unorthodox.

Every time I tried to explain the science of mating. I lost them at word one.

This is *kind of* some real shit. I feel him on the fact that we don't know these things, and that we should; but yall don't see the contradiction in this? At the beginning, he's talking about how we blame white people for us not having jobs, and how we expect them to do build our houses, do our farming, etc. This, to me, implied that we shouldn't blame the white man, and that we have no excuse as humans to not be able to do for ourselves. But then, in the same breath, he's blaming the white person for not teaching us the sciences of business, warfare, and mating. The white man ain't stopped me from learning shit on my own. If we don't know the science of business, and the white man does, then the white man goes and shares this knowledge with other white men, who are we to fault the white man for OUR lack of knowledge? I'm just not down with blaming other people (or the white man) for what I don't know and *in theory* have made no attempt to learn - especially in this day in the age, when the internet provides us with all the information we need on any subject. There's plenty of cats on this very board who provide information that isn't available in textbooks.
