Democrats Deliberately Hold Black Children Down

If you are a firm believer of the notion that beyond all other devices of human origin that the great equalizer of men is education, then why is the messiah against school vouchers for inner city children in Washington D.C.? If the program is working then why scrap it. If you read the article you will find that the program was started by a democrat and funded by Bush. Some of the children even attend the same school that Obama's girls attend. If public school is good enough for your children why does he not trust his children with D.C.'s finest?

Change you can believe in.

Dear Black Americans: Democrats Deliberately Hold your Children Down
Intentionally crushing the hopes and dreams of your next generation's brightest and best is a gratuitous act of cruelty

Today, in fact right as I post this, D.C. Parents for School Choice and DC Children First, in a city where the student population is 90% black, are holding the DC School Choice Rally in the Freedom Plaza of Washington, DC (details here). Perhaps you should know why it was necessary…..

Says the Black Alliance for Educational Options:

Congress is poised to do away with one of former President George W. Bush’s signature initiatives in education: the taxpayer-funded vouchers that enable students from low-income families in the District of Columbia to attend private schools. About 1,700 children in kindergarten through 12th grade receive the $7,500 annual scholarships. Four times as many apply.

The District of Columbia spends more per pupil than any school district in the nation, but still is plagued by low test scores, high dropout rates and underperforming schools. The voucher program was passed by Congress as a five-year pilot program. But it has been on House Democrats’ hit list for some time……

White House spokesman Thomas Vietor said Tuesday that Obama supports allowing the current students to remain in the program until they graduate from high school but not permitting the addition of new students.

How would you like your daughter to be the student number 1701? The one who will never escape the underperforming public schools, who was not permitted to pursue her dreams for which she is perfectly willing to work hard for?

Dear American Blacks:

Sometimes the very best act of friendship I could do is tell you that the person you think is your best friend actually works against you behind your back, laughing at you, mocking your hardships, secure in the knowledge that you need him too much to ever leave him.

Sometimes — no, actually always — the true friend is the one who tells you what you don’t want to hear. The one who does not indulge you, the one who will neither promise you nor give you candy and other bennies. Instead he tells you to sit down and eat your green beans and spinach — and if you want that nice car, then quit whining, get an education, earn a good job, and earn that nice car.

The really ironic thing is that the slick, good-time “friend” will tell you what a jerk your true friend is. And you will believe him. You will believe him, that is, until you grow up, or until your good-time friend sells you up the river so far that your life is wrecked, and your future is ruined. Your wisdom will have been gained at a steep price.

But your true friend will still be there. And eating your green beans, securing an education, and working hard are still the path to success.

American Blacks, the Democratic Party is that good-time, lying, back-stabbing excuse for a “friend”. The DC Voucher story is an illustration — hardly a unique story — of how Democrats continually seek to set you up as a permanent underclass, so that you’ll depend on them to throw you scraps and believe their lies, in order to secure your votes to keep them in power.

In Jan 2004, the Republican-run Congress passed the DC School Voucher program as part of the fiscal year 2004 budget. The measure was proposed by Democrat DC Mayor Anthony Williams, and championed by President George W Bush. It included money for the school district itself to dedicate to more teacher training and recruitment (i.e., it was designed to improve the district as well, not just punish them). The entire 5-year program cost $40 million - 1/20,000th the size of the Democrat-passed “stimulus” bill passed 2 months ago.

So why did the Democrats kill the DC Voucher Program, a year before the 5-year pilot program expired, over the loud objections of Republicans? It’s not because the Democrats don’t enjoy spending money! Good Lord. In this year’s Democrat-passed spending bill, they found room for $5.8 million for the “Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the Senate, Boston, MA” and $6.6 million for “Formosan Subterranean Termites Research” (and over 9000 other special earmarked projects)

Why has the school voucher program been on the House Democrat hit list? I suppose it’s subject to interpretation, but I’ll offer these notes:

Teacher unions, the NEA and the AFT, detest voucher programs.
Teacher unions are a very powerful Democrat Party constituent, donating many millions in campaign contributions to Democrat candidates, not to mention spending more money on lobbying than the top 4 oil companies combined.
Meanwhile, the DC Mayor and the DC School Superintendent lobbied for the program, and lobbied to keep it.
The voucher program accepts 1700 students, while about 7,000 students applied.
over 60% of the private schools in DC cost less than $7500 per year, meaning the families of the 1700 students are not burdened with paying any tuition at all.
I leave it to you to decide why the Democrats would cancel a wildly successful, much sought after program that merely seeks to give children a chance at success. In a school district so rife with corruption and waste that the per-pupil spending is the highest in the nation, while producing some of the lowest test scores, some parents want better for their kids.

Democrats stripped spending from the program this year. Republican Senator John Ensign brought Amendment 615 to the spending bill to restore the spending. It was voted down 58-39, with 2 Democrats voting for it,and 56 voting against it. Not only that, but Democrats withheld this official report (executive summary, and full report) showing the success of the program until after debate was over.

A Proposal
So while the Democrats toss your children’s hopes and dreams aside, secure in the knowledge that you’ll always vote for them, remember that your true friend is still here.

I ask you to consider, why is it that you hate Republicans so much? This DC School Voucher was brought in 2004 by Republicans at the request of a Democratic mayor who desperately cared about the future of DC students. It was killed in 2009 by Democrats for reasons that appear cynical and political.

Republicans do not know how to approach you. Democrats and the Democrat-dominated press have misled you and stoked up your wrath to the point that you will not listen to us.

So I propose this: how about listening? How about listening to what Republicans have to say, instead of what the Democrats say we say? How about listening to what we have to say before booing us out of the building?

You may find that we make sense, not just for rich white people, but for everybody. To wit:

Republicans stand, as much as anything, for equality of freedom, equality of opportunity. We do NOT stand for equality of outcome. Hard work is rewarded, laziness is not.
Want a good job? Get an education.
Want special treatment? Tough.
Want the opportunity to escape poverty, crime, and poor schools? Then quit voting for the Democrats that put you there.
Tired of 15% unemployment in your areas? Then quit supporting the Democrats who raise taxes and force increase regulations on employers. [oh yeah, the Democrats call them the 'rich', but when was the last time a poor man gave you a job?]
Eat your green beans! Do the thing that frees you!

It’s tough love, but I assure you, friend, it’s love. That’s why we fought like hell to restore the DC School Vouchers. That’s why we fought like hell to lower taxes on businesses, so employers could hire more people and create more success for everybody.

We received not one ounce of gratitude from you, but we did it anyway. And we will continue to do what is right for America, for whites, for blacks, for Latinos, for Republicans, for Democrats, for today, and for the future.

Join us. Consider it, anyway.

Sincerely,
E Pluribus Unum

All the kids of (family and friends) are in great public and private schools.

For what?
Is this so hard to believe?
Even if the OP made it up himself there is a lot of truth in that post.
Exploitation is the American way.
It's common sense if you know your history.

Democrats have been exploiting black people since day 1.
Democrats were in power when slavery was introduced in the U.S.
Bill Clinton put more black people behind bars than any other president in history and was still deemed "the honorary first black president".:smh:

When the Republican party was formed(by anti-slavery activists)they took all the old money conservatives with them leaving the dems fucked.
The dems have been trailing behind the repubs 18-14 ever since even though the dem party had a 30 year head start on the repubs.

Are the repubs fucks too?
Of course, they didn't have a plan for what happens after you free millions of black people into a hostile environment and in turn, turning their backs on black people deeming them politically insignificant.
That still pales in comparison of how bad dems have fucked black people and continue to fuck black people and I'll explain.

Fast forward years later, the dems are still getting their ass kicked by the repubs.
The Republican party still has that old world money in their pocket and continue to have the advantage.
The Democrats are desperate so what do they do?
They start a campaign to pander to all those formerly deemed as politically insignificant, all those considered to be second class citizens, minorities, the poor and women.
Of course that didn't happen all at once but the intention remained the same,to get votes.

So the democrats make all these promises of civil rights and liberal programs to institute fairness and equality but tax the shit out of those who they promise to help.
How does that work?
They left out that those who don't vote wont get shit but the bare minimum.
The stats don't lie,it's all about votes and political involvement.
The monies from these programs go where the votes come from.
Urban schools where the population is mostly black and poor get little to no funding.
Black people have consistently had the lowest voter turn out throughout history.
Coincidence?
Women vote and have progressed significantly in comparison.
Coincidence?
Shit, even illegal mexicans get a slap on the wrist because politicians know they will vote once they become citizens.
More funds are put into liberal programs for illegals than urban schools in poor black communities
I could give more examples but I think y'all will get the point.

I'm sorry but the Democratic party is not the lesser of 2 evils.
They will do anything to compete with the Republican party.
But like I said, fuck the repubs too, they have strayed way too far of their original path.
That's why I boycotted this last election.
Both sides are tainted by corruption and cannot be trusted with the best interest of America as it stands today.

Maybe come 2012,it's time to give another party more consideration.
What do we really have to lose at this point?

Peace

I love the vigilance of the racist fucks from Redstate who are always on the lookout for our best interests. They love black people so much there, how could anyone of us stand it???

I mean, you can just feel the outreach when they use terms like "Dear American Blacks", as if the only people affected by whatever this bullshit analysis is pushing are only black people. Not to mention when they continue to refer to the president as a Muslim, a terrorist, the n word as if we should give less than a fuck then they do about black people.

Take it from me you redstate terrorist, the gifted and talented among us cannot be stifled by this. Haven't you even read the bio of President Barack Obama? I know those fucks and read. Did you not see his roots and what he had to overcome to eventually become the nations first African American president?

You think he had it easier than those you claim will be adversely affected by vouchers? If you didn't read it, I have. No silver spoon. Just hard work and determination.

It is what the gifted and talented among our race look at and internalize. And we don't allow government intervention to stop us.

And not just Barack Obama, Martin Luther King, Tiger Woods, Colin Powell all still rose to the top of their game without a fuckin' voucher. I'd list out more names of those who have succeeded in spite of what redstate does but I'm sure it would be a waste of time. The only reason you posted this is to further this assault on the nation and it's people.

Won't work pal.

The brightest and best among us will succeed. We always do.

Face it, the only reason any of those fucks at redstate have ANY interest in the voucher program is because whites receiving the money will be cut off from it. And because of the demographics in DC, the most palatable way you racist fucks figure you can solicit our support is by lambasting the president and the entire democratic party.

This is nothing more than a stunt because beneath it all is nothing more than pure cacestry. Nothing but pure hate of President Barack Obama, his supreme court nominees and you are all working to make sure the country fails and falls further into the slim pit established by years of republican policy.

I know you. And you at redstate. And you all smell like sulfur.

Climb down off of your liberal cross these are real black people who are affected. The R&B singer Ginuwine attended this rally and stated that he supported Obama but he think the vouchers are a good thing. By the way Your messiah didn't need vouchers because he attended an elite high school. He also attended the best Ivy League schools. I don't begrudge any man chasing his dreams. But, my point is why have these children attend crappy schools. Man I have put on summer reading programs around my community. DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT LIKE TO ASK AN EIGHTH GRADER TO READ IN FRONT OF HIS FELLOW PUPILS AND HE SLOWLY TELLS YOU HE CANT READ!!!! I thought you liberals were for the little guy. Would you rather someone not ring the alarm!!!

I'm not on shit to climb down from. And Ginuwine is entitled to his opinion. I say different. With or without vouchers, our best and brightest succeed. This society ensures that.

And on the issue of 8th graders who cannot read, how will a voucher fix that? Any student who by the 8th grade isn't reading, placing them in another school with a voucher won't fix it. I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. I already know why johnny can't damn read and somehow you think a voucher can fix it. Such flawed thinking on your part.

Moreover, on the issue of these vouchers, they don't pay the entire ride for a student. The parent has to come up with the difference and if they are shown to be unable to do that, they are not eligible for the voucher program. No government agency is allowed to spend money that way. Nor should they.

Which places those 8th graders where they need to be, in a class choking on the smell of sulfur, listening to you teach.

And quit the bullshit messiah talking points ok. Barack Obama is a lot of things but he's no messiah. We know why you call him that because only white people should be able to capture the imagination of Americans and peoples around he world. You have been trained all your pathetic life that white people are superior race and in order to cope with reality, you use buzz words like Messiah, Christ and Magic Negro to discuss him.

He's a product of everything responsible parenting asked him to be and you, sad to say are the exact opposite. He is no different than any other product produced by responsible parenting. You are just so caught up in hatred, the only way you can discuss an issue is through the haze of some republican talking point. Think for yourself for a change. It's difficult but try it.

Bottom line it takes will to succeed and with will, we do succeed. In spite of all those pricks on redstate try to do to block our progress, we got Barack Obama in the White House as this nation's Commander-In-Chief. Tell your buddies on freeper I said get used to it. :hmm:

Sorry if I didn't spell everything out for you vegas. It is my contention that these children should be identified early and not be subjected to low performing schools. You and your ilk complain everyday on this board about mr. Charlie holding you down. It is not the voucher, it's the exposure to boot. One thing most in our race complain about is how tests are designed for us to fail. Well if your going to a failing low budget school how will our children learn that corn doesn't come from a can. Dude I know you are not that blind to not realize that our children are failing. I'm well aware that the problem starts at home but what about choice. The data shows that given a choice most low-income parents chose the vouchers. Why should they be locked into failing schools???? I know Colin Powell and others achieved their goals but what about Tyrone and Sally. It's bigger than that. Bobby Jindal said that when he graduated from high school his father told him that " ok son you can be whatever DOCTER you would like to be". In regards to you statement "the vouchers would not cover the whole tuition" well I say, shop for a school that will accept the entire amount or cut back on a few pairs of Jordans!!! Stop making excuses, School is an investment. Dude I'm talking about the Talented Tenth that WEB Dubois spoke of. Sorry, my friend but we are in a definite need of a shifting in the mindset in our people. Well intentions don't remove people from poverty.

Stay on point!!!

Dude you know he's gonna waffle on this one. All of the data support this particular voucher system in D.C.:D. Let me help you vegas a DEMOCRAT STARTED THE PROGRAM!!! Maybe he kneels at the feet of OBAMA! You love Obama don't you!!! Obama says the stimulus is working, Obama says place a bucket over my head. Must go to Home Depot and purchase a orange bucket.

Clearly you could give a damn, Mr Charlie saa. And I don't fuckin' wear Jordan's. Never owned a pair. :hmm:

Was this voucher plan a permanent one? I was under the impression it was experimental. At least that was the way it was sold by Bush. There was never permanence attached to this plan. Which is why funding it was and is ALWAYS at issue. What protections were written into the bill that provides for funding this? Bet you don't even know.

So don't get pissed with me because I read the proposals and the bills and followed it through and you are just a bunch of johnny come lately's to the process. Got one cac putting the blame on black people like he did when he posted that first bullshit post from redstate and here you guys coming in like willing foot soldiers.

I'm not naive nor am I impressed by this fake concern you have for black people.

I think your missing my point. To your mothers credit she did a fine job with you and the accomplishments you achieved. What about the children who don't have that mother that rules with an iron fist. They are forever lost. The name escapes me at the moment. Nonetheless it was a school that was built in Kansas City. The school was an abysmal failure. Yet liberals thought that they could throw multi-millions of dollars at the problem. The school even had an olympic sized swimming pool. The school performed even worse. Choice forces any business to step their game up. Look at the iphone. They have set the standard on how to produce a business tool. The U.S. postal service said it's impossible to deliver a package to Washington over night now you have fed ex and ups. Now who's suffering the postal service or fed ex and ups? The government should get out of the business of education period. Social security is in the crapper and now the messiah wants to control health care. Was it the government who sat through all of those classes in order for you to EARN your degree or was it the government. We as a people shouldn't be so quick to hand over our rights and liberty to the government so easily. Hell we just received them in the 60's. "Fake concern for Black People"??? White and Blacks approved of Ebonics in California. Would you let your children attend a school that approved of ebonics??? So I guess your the Arbiter of Blackness on this Board. Any time I need advice in that area i'll PM you.

What does any of that have to do with vouchers? But you got all the typical buzzwords down. Abysmal failure, messiah, control health care, approval of Ebonics? GTFOH. That shit never happened and what was discussed at the time was some effort to get teachers hip to the street language but that other bullshit right wingers morphed this shit into existed in your own hateful brains.

I'm no arbiter of blackness nor do I need to be. But being black, I know a hell of a lot more about what it than you do.

What I am saying to you is people like you look at the world from 1000 miles off the ground. You think that because you cut a check to some charity you've done your part. Rush the Druggy loves to boast for weeks that he's made some sizable donation to some charity to give the impression that he gives a fuck.

That is the easy part. When have any of these cacs spent any time in a food kitchen, or with the homeless, or the homeless veterans for that matter? Have they ever visited the troops once they have returned home or offered any of them a hand getting up the stairs? Not once have I heard them talk about doing anything. Shawn even went so far as to fake a waterboard for money for the troops to give the impression he supports them. He doesn't and it's easy to tell.

They call themselves Christians. Never heard of these kind of Christians except those who wear hoods. But I digress.

Same goes to those arguments that say we can dump money into a school where the kids are not learning and that should fix it. If you remember I took serious issue with your concept of what you think the purpose of a voucher is and what it can do. If a kid is more interested in things that do not require any work, or only require them to be physically able to play a sport, vouchers won't fix them.

There has to be, as President Obama has said countless times, a synergy between the parent and the school. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

That has to also be something shared in the community where the schools exist. When you say, "give him a voucher" but the kid doesn't know how to work, you give ammo to those who question the legitimacy of the program.

In your mimic about Kansas City schools, I'm sure some in the program you mentioned did benefit from it. But you were trained to believe one black person is the same as all black people. That those living in poverty will always live there.

Nothing is further from reality.

You said or better yet, Limbaugh said because you don't know from a fuck what really went down..
Nonetheless it was a school that was built in Kansas City. The school was an abysmal failure. Yet liberals thought that they could throw multi-millions of dollars at the problem. The school even had an olympic sized swimming pool. The school performed even worse.

You can't tell me that NO students benefited by what they tried to do. You can't even say if half of the students that attended didn't benefit from that effort because you just don't know and have not gone beyond your radio to know. You don't even know what metrics was used to evaluate the program to come up with abysmal failure. Right wingers. Man!

Only that NOT ENOUGH benefited which made this stand out as a failure causing the funding dry up. Which is what happened. All of this experiment stemmed from a desegregation order and whites reaction was " if we must do this then we will draw up the plans for this and we will determine what our whites would want in a school if we have to attend school with the blacks." Is it any clearer now? Cacs! :smh:

Which is why funding it was and is ALWAYS at issue. What protections were written into the bill that provides for funding this? Bet you don't even know.

So don't get pissed with me because I read the proposals and the bills and followed it through and you are just a bunch of johnny come lately's to the process. Got one cac putting the blame on black people like he did when he posted that first bullshit post from redstate and here you guys coming in like willing foot soldiers.

I'm not naive nor am I impressed by this fake concern you have for black people.

I'm going to ask this again because you obviously do not understand the question. IS IT RIGHT TO TAKE AWAY THE VOUCHER PROGRAM FROM STUDENTS? Please stay on point!!!

If I don't understand the question as you say, why the fuck are you asking me again?

It's almost too easy to get you wingnuts riled the fuck up. Pout like babies in kindergarten when you can't get your way. lol.

I apologize if my choice of words offend you. Maybe you should have paid a little more attention in class. That's the problem with you commies, you never believe that logic and facts are absolute. The data is there for you to research at your leisure. I suggest you craft yourself a new reality. The only thing that increase in size if you take away from it is a hole. My friend you are digging a whole in your argument. You're all over the place. Dispute the data. Show me where the achievement gap is being closed. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting the same results. You believe in Hope and Change don't you? If Rush and other conservatives speak for me who speaks for you? Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson? The only reason you and other commies cite Rush is because no one in the media has the balls to question media bias. You give this guy so much power and he's not even a city council member. Again refute the data. Everything else is mumbo jumbo.

Not all over the place. Just more than what rush prepared you for.

That is the problem with wingnut dialog. You should know what language is offensive but in the name of "free speech" offensive speech isn't. You've never learned it or dismiss that fact outright for some outlandish reason. Your right wing ilk must be as offensive as you can be and I should simply accept it; and if I don't because it's offensive then it's my problem.

That's you, Rush, and the rest. Smoke and mirrors, symbolism and no substance. You use stunts instead of offering solutions and you play games with religion and the religious.

You must be as offensive and disagreeable to others is what the republican party has become. No different than the Taliban.

Tell me this since you claim an affinity for competition, why don't you want competition when it comes to single payer / public option health care?

Dude, its a simple question.

Do you think its right to do away with the voucher program?

If you can't understand this question, then why are you on this board?

BTW, you are all over the place on your answering. Your answer to this question shouldn't be more than 3 sentences. You write an essay without actually answering the question. Standard spin move. You can Barry Sanders juke the question all you want. I'm going to keep asking it until you give me a straight answer.

Still haven't answered the question?

Its a typical YES OR NO question. I mean dude, at least have the nuts to stand for what you believe in. I can give a straight answer, and not worry about anyone criticizing me on this board. So, again, for your manhood, here's the question again...

Do you think its right to do away with the voucher program?

If you don't wanna answer the question, feel free to ignore me. BTW, I know women on SOL that got more nuts than you dude.

You know the word NUTS is a metaphor right?

Are we going to answer this question sometime this week?

Do you think its right to do away with the voucher program?

As neither a conservative or a liberal(at least not by today's abominations of what those 2 groups have become).
Standing from the outside looking in,y'all look like fools arguing points on both sides without substance.
Even though, I do agree with some of the things that VG has said as well as some of the things Gunner has said in this thread.
What you are both missing is the ebb and flow and the desperation that both sides revert to when one side has a leg up on the other in the grand scheme of things.

If proof was given that you could see with your own eyes showing you that you're wrong, you would still deny what you see.
Unless you look at everything from both sides with an open mind you will never be able to truly think outside the box.

Just my 2 Lincolns,
Peace

The only people holding black children down are their shiftless, irresponsible, ghetto mentality, no ambition having "parents".

What is hyper hypocritical about the voucher GOP wedge issue is that the same people that want so called school choice for Black children are the exact same people that don’t want universal health care. Exposes the flaw in their divisive argument.

They claim that by giving vouchers is increases competition in education and public schools are forced to provide a better education. So why doesn't the same line of thinking apply to forcing the insurance companies to compete by a public option for health care?

As it is, existing systems only want to insure you if you are healthy. But if you happen to be older, with pre-existing conditions, they don't want to talk to you and if they do, the costs will break anybodies budget.

And rather than look at this as a serious problem, and come up with solutions, they turn to bullshit and scream communism, socialism because the right wing calculates a soviet style fear campaign will cower the people into keeping quiet.

During Reagan, this nation spent billions building nuclear weapons because we had to compete against the Soviets.

A pure communist society.

But we get hateful opposition when it comes to competition for health care for Americans.

The fuck is wrong with this picture??

Believe me, when I make an argument, I look at both sides first. The problem is, the other side tends to try to find demons to hate instead of trying to find the more sensible solution. For example, if a guy shoots another guy, one side blames it on the gun industry. The other side blames the crime on the individual. You get me?

If better education was offered to students, maybe that would slow the tide of dependents on government programs. Of course, that plan do not happen overnight like you would like Thought. BTW, do we not have some of the best medical facilities in the world? I wonder what universal health care would do to our medical industry?

Keep on juking the question vg...

Are you opposed to universal health care ??? If so,
(a) How did you come to oppose it, before you knew what it might do to the medical industry; and

(b) Since you are opposed without knowing, does it really matter what it might do to the industry???

Yes I oppose to it.

The stories I've heard FROM people that came from Great Britain. They told me stories on how when the government provide universal health care, all of a sudden, someone in an office building can tell you if you can/can't have certain treatments. Our health care today is good because we choose to have what we want to have. In most cases, the working person pays *ie benefits* for what they want. As soon as universal health care takes place, the system that has been noted to be so flawed, becomes worst than it is right now.

I don't know about you, but I do not want to have to talk to anyone about an illness other than my doctor.

Whats funny about ass is he thinks treatment is determined by doctors. He and his ilk pretend they never heard of an HMO, know what it does, how it works and why it came into being in the first place.

When doctors accept money from insurance companies, they also agree to accept whatever the insurance companies choose to pay them.

I get blood work done every year. The costs submitted for that service is somewhere near 1200.00 bucks. I submit the bill to BCBS and they send me what the customary fees agreed to are.

They paid the doctor a total of 157.00 dollars.

Now, the doctor has maybe rent to pay, equipment he has to pay for, nurses, a mortgage, kids maybe etc. Not to mention paying protection money [malpractice] for anyone looking to sue him/her for any mistakes they might make. What normally happens here is, the doctor quit taking new patients and some get out of family practice and go into a specialty. Further driving up the costs of the few family practice physicians left.

But Ass says, "yeah, I oppose changing this method of health care."

The only reason to oppose getting this shit fixed is because right wingers want to protect the interests of senators who protect the interests of the insurance giants.

No more no less.
