Now watch they got kim back at HQ getting the cure for jack.
i have season one to 6 on dvd so i guess i'll be getting season 7....i missed too many eps and dont have patience to watch online...
nah they start shooting season 8 in ny in like 2 months....she might join the cast tho but jack will be back
naw i read somewhere that next season gonna pick up from when jack's gonna gets frozen in a cryogenics lab and released in the future when a cure is made, then he will meet his grandson who is going to be some hot head rookie fbi agent
thats the movie....and he will learn to fly....

Good season, but the finale was very weak

Good season, but the finale was very weak
Nah homie... the season ending may not have TIED EVERYTHING up neatly... but it was FAR FROM WEAK.
In this instance the purpose of the season ender... was to leave you waiting to see what happens in Season 8.
It did just that.
My predictions for start of season 8
1.) Renee beats the shit out of Wilson... gets a HINT of information... but is kicked out the FBI for the ass whooping. She is not brought up on FEDERAL charges due to her "service" to the country that day.
2.) The president's husband commits suicide in the room where we last saw him. Due to her grief the President is emotionally fucked up...and everybody in the white house wants her to step down. The VP..yup that slimey mofo from the start of season 7 smell blood and trys to set up the PRES to get her out of office.
3.) Season 8 picks up a few months after we last see everyone... enough time for the stem cell shit to work.
Jack recovers... gets to know Kim and his grandson. Meanwhile the terrorist group that WILSON was part of plots big shit in NY. Hell the Chinese from season 2 might even be in on the shit too.
Some piece of information that Wilson told Renee during the interrogation that seemed "irreleveant" months ago... is the 1st major clue and lead into what is about to POP OFF.
The president gets Renee re-instated to HELP with the investigation of whats going on in NY. The VP see his opening and is APPALLED that the President reinstated a known torturer (RENEE) to help out. The VP then works behind the scenes to politically manuever the PRES out of office.
Renee gets in touch with JACK to help out with the situation in NY. Jack is at 1st reluctant because he is building a relationship with his daughter and grandson... and "retired".
But somehow for whatever reason Kim and the Grandson get "trapped" in NY......and well JACK goes back into JACK mode.

Nah, Jack gonna start Day 8 walking out of the hospital completely healed w/ Kim & Renee by his side, then they gonna pan over to Palmer and he gonna say.

First off I like this season better than a lot of others for a long time.
Second, the ending didn't bother me as much as many others, I like the fact that jack reached out to an Imam to find peace and the conversation between Renee and Jack regarding doing anything to get the job done.
But even after that conversation Renee still decided to go rouge on Wilson, was Renee saving the 50 people on the bus like Jack or was she seeking revenge like Tony? The ambiguity is what makes raises the level of drama.
i know they wanted to show Kim throughout this episode but the scene of her running to the hospital would have been more powerful if she had not been in the hospital and we then would have thought Jack may have really died, there was no suspense in that final scene, my only complaint.

I loved that the episode had three different, somewhat ambiguous endings.
1) Renee and Wilson in the interrogation room
2) Jack and Kim Bauer in the hospital room together
3)President Taylor and her family. This last one was absolutely GRIPPING! That situation was so tense and ugly due to what was NOT being said. Cherry Jones is FUCKING AWESOME!!!
The other emotional kicker for me was Tony's insane outbursts as he was being dragged off. I was about crying over that one. Dude's mental state was completely gone. I even bought the "son" angle.
I also like how they tied all the previous events of the past seasons with the "conspiracy".
Forget Keifer Sutherland.
If Cherry Jones and Carlos Bernardh aren't nominated for Emmys this year, I'm going to be PISSED!!!
Bob Gunton also deserves kudos as Ethan Kanin.
