Superboy (Conner) is not one of the Black Lanterns as he was just brought back to life. Confirmed is Kal-L (Earth 2 Superman), Aqua Man and Martian Man Hunter. No confirmation on Bats yet.

Its a representation of the different colors that create light itself - also the different emotions of life - will, fear, greed, rage, and so on..



Black is Death - pure and simple(which is ironic considering in another cultures, Chinese for example, white is death)
