man last time i went to help was in 96. been to rio twice since then but didn't go to help and it was still the most packed spot in town. if ya'll go to rio and help is closed then check out club centarus.

I think 90 percent of the Club Help chicks are busted compared to normal cariocas. I always take friends there when they visit because everyone wants to hit Help... but they notice the difference when I take them to regular local spots.... and you correct, brasil is just a naturally open culture in regards to sex so that's not a problem either. The language can be a barrier for people just visiting but 70 percent of the women in the nice bars/ clubs in zona sul speak basic English anyway.....

The story has always been for years that the owner of the building has continues to turn down offers from Hotels to buy the land and put a nice hotel up. He makes a lot of cash in that place.. but supposedly the offers are getting much higher now... at least that is the story I've always heard.
