We have Myspace, Facebook, and now the infamous, celebrity-infused Twitter...sites that let you update your every move, and list plenty of information concerning your job(s), love life, etc...
But, seems like some are disclosing too much information. Feeling the need to divulge personal information about yourself, or updating statuses often can be viewed, perhaps, as an attempt for attention or even an addiction of sorts.
Example 1: The front man for a particular band posting his every purchase from his debit card, and remaining balance. Yes, it's true.
Example 2: A good friend of mine from high school posting that she was pregnant, and then having to post the horrible news of her miscarriage via her Facebook status as others continued to question about the due date, gender of baby, etc.
SOL/BGOL, do you have a Myspace/Facebook/Twitter page? If so (or even if not so), do you draw a line between what is and isn't too personal to share with others? Do you think these sites allow others to gain too much access to you, as well?
