Bzzzzzzz!!!!
Wrong.
Or rather, partially right.
Any man that needs his woman to think of him like that has microwavable insecurity issues.
Agree (with this part) 100%.
But, besides the drollery and rhetoric in this thread, wasn't this answer to the OP's "hypothetical" question so GOT DAMNED FUCKING OBVIOUS!!?. . .
Bullshit.
You keep saying that shit and I'm thinking what putrid septic land-fill is she digging this crap out of? LOL
What do you mean by "emotionally strong"?![]()
That's ambiguous as fuck.
What emotion?
You mean, like, catching feelings n shit?
If so, I aint touching that 32 page thread debate.
But if you must, there's mad published literature available on controlled psych experiments examining congruency (or lack thereof) of gender stereotypes related to emotion.
But shit, even then, I've seen some of them and they're mad suspect and over simplified because gotta consider social context and individual differences.
If you ask me, I'd say it's all about the experience and expression of emotions.
Males tend to maintain control over their emotions whereas females tend to be more are emotionally expressive.
I think this is one of the most important things you said here Sean. It's not that men don't have emotion, in most cases we just try to keep our emotions under control and think and act rationally. That's not always the case, but generally speaking I believe that's what those of us who are self aware tend to do. I also agree about women being more expressive. That seems to be the way they operate. Now, this is not to say that women can't control their emotions and that men don't express theirs. There are of course, plenty of exceptions on both sides...
