...at least one national sports authority gave the Lions a top grade for its draft.....an "A".. Stating that they also got very good tackle, TE, CB, alongwith its franchise QB. Consolation? Well, at least for a while...until the season begins.

They also reported that the Lions wanted to trade its choice--to move down--but could find "no takers" a/c of the guaranteed money committed to Stafford.

But there are still many unhappy Lions' fans.:angry:smh:yes:

Damn, GM just lay-off another 21,000 in Pontiac, Detroit's unemployment is in double digits, not to mention Ford Motor Company's financial stress. But the Ford's still sell-out the stadium. Who cares about $41.7M with the possiblity of reaching $72M. within 6-years.

One by-product...a greater likelihood of limiting future #1 choices draft money.
