Today is my day to get this Reason garbage sorted. If you can assits i'd appreciate it.

1. I was not sure if Reason 3 files would work with Reason 4. All my songs are in R3. Plus there was a matter of Vista which is my now OS. I just decided to go with R4.

2. I have never used or downlaoded one of these virtual drives before. Is there one in particular that I should use? Did a search and saw Daemon Tools or something like that. Is that the best? How do I extract the data so that it loads on my program files?

3. In regards to your question. I have extracted the info using Magic ISO and I have used the striaght ISO file. Reason still asks me to insert the 2nd disk. This is where I am with this today.

dont extract the info from the iso file. you should never have to if you have a virtual drive. sometimes i extract the info, but in this case you need to mount the iso.

mount the iso. mounting the iso makes the computer believe that the mounted iso file is burned physically on a cd.

i use alcohol 120%.
what you do is install the program and then setup virtual drives. i have 5 virtual drives on my pc. they show up as drive letters g, h, i, j, k, etc etc etc. what you do is right-click on any of the virtual drives and then there should be an option to "mount image". you select that option and then it will ask you to look for the image file (the iso)

if you have 3 iso files you should have at least 3 virtual drives and mount each one. then go back to the first one and start the install. when it needs the other discs the setup will just automatically go into the second mounted file until all is done.

alcohol 120% is one program. alot of people in this board swear by daemon tools, which is actually a great program to virtual drives.

by the way since we're here what post number is that reason 3? i need to look at that post i dont have it handy so if you have it handy link me or tell me what post/thread you know i can never keep up with all these threads i got going on

CD1 is used for installation, disc check for game play, and installation of cashflow 202 if you decide to try to play that one as well.

CD2 is used for the installation of the game only.

I know i had to start installing from CD1 and switch to CD2 mid-install when prompted. You may have to switch back to CD1 to complete the install (i don't recall) but you will need CD1 in the drive or emulated in order to play the game.

you will never need to burn anything ever again. just mount them. i doubt you'll ever need it but you can have endless amount of virtual drives. sometimes i have games, programs, movies all mounted and just waiting for me to use them.

It won't accept the pone validation code. Everything worked up until that point. I even followed the suggested solution. (i.e., uninstaling/reinstalling Network Framework)

I ended up going in to one of your threads and getting Alcohol 120%. Thanks.

2 side notes.

1. Did you ever try to find that Divx Encoder program for your phone movies? I still have not found the exact setting, but that program is the only one (out of the 4 I've tried) that lets me customize the screen size. Still searching though.

2. I know this is not the pocket pc thread, but SPB is "supposed" to be releasing mobile shell ver. 3 tomorrow. Do you know if you can get your capable hands on a cracked copy?

im still using zc converter for my blackberry. it does the job and im fine with it. ill probably just stick with it all the other ones have too many bugs or just dont work right. i dont see mobile shell but hit thist thread back in a few days or hit the main board see if the other pocket pc users have it. i dont see it yet as of now
