Memphis should stay in C-USA or at least see if it can get into the SEC.

The amount of money they would spend on travel alone wouldn't worth it. The closest school is GA Tech and it's almost 400 miles away. It makes no damn sense to even suggest it.

Memphis couldn't join a league like the ACC because geographically it would make no sense and 2nd Memphis academic standards are not nearly good enough to join a league like the ACC.
If I were Memphis I would stay in my conference and continue to dominate while bitch smacking the teams from big time conferences. As long as Calipari is there he will continue to get top flight talent that can compete with anyone in the country.
He already has the best recruiting class in the country and if he lands John Wall Memphis could potentially have one of the best recruiting classes in college basketball history.

Maryland did belong in the tournament, there play on the court showed that. As one of the least talented teams in the ACC they still managed to win big time games due to Gary Williams.
If Gary Williams could recruit worth a damn players like Micheal Beasley, Rudy Gay, Carmello Anthony, and Kevin Durant could of went to Maryland. There is absolutely no reason why a school like Maryland can not hold on to in state talent. If there is one gripe I have with Gary is his unwillingness to recruit.

There is nothing wrong with one and dones as long as you have a core nucleus of 3-4 year players that develop exponentially during their college career(examples Robert Dozier and Antonio Anderson).
John Calipari has formulated the perfect scheme year after year because he can find 4 year players to blend with one and dones each and every year.

U really can't even count cats like Love tho b/c they sign to big programs. Even without Kevin Love and Brendan Wright, UCLA, UNC, and other big time teams will still go far because they have across the board big time talent.
But take Rose off of that Memphis team and they wouldn't have made it that far in the tourney and take Evans off this Mempthis squad and they probably would have been eliminated by now

When they had the big ACC expansion and the Big East expansion, Memphis wasn't invited. The SEC doesn't want them because they would compete for area recruiting. Memphis is in the only conference that wants them.
No cause the SEC is a football first conference. Memphis would die in that conference
