definitely in my opinion theres alot to accomplish and alot of depth. I must say its much more fun playing guys you know. I have a bunch of bgol cats whom ive played. Some lurk some don't but so far its much more fun than the generic lobbies.
The fact that this thread is all these pages should answer the question.
did you beat the game with the unlocked players to first?
So basically you can read posts on a messageboard, but you can't open the damn instruction manual that came with the game and learn the controls?man... i stay getting owned on this game
never played street fighter before... i'm new to this.
i used to rock Tekken hard.
how long did it take yall to get used to the controls?
in fact what are the conrols?
i feel like i just paid $60 to get beat the fuck up
PS3

Learning the moves is the easy part. Street Fighter is like high speed chess. It's not a button masher. The Focus Attack has so many properties that it adds a whole new variable in regards to combos, defense and offense.
My advise is to search posts on SFIV by Daimy0 learn the properties of moves. 2nd piece of advice is pick a character you feel the most comfortable with and MASTER them. Learn what moves hit where (low mid high), and learn how to play mind games with that info. Spamming special moves will NOT work against an average SFIV player.

that is pretty much what i was going to say.
yo i don't even know where to begin. who hasn't played street fighter?????????? not gettin on you but how old are you? i've been playin street fighter since 87. anyway, comin from tekken to street fighter is gonna be hard. in sf there's more of a combination of joystick/dpad movements and simultaneous button presses. best thing to do is hit that training mode.

thanks.I don't know what to tell you man.
I've been playing Street Fighter since I was 7.
Just hit Practice mode and get it in![]()

before you can try to get Gouken and then do the 2 perfects etc thing. This dude unlocked Gouken with Ken. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zRq00e2mZo So after i beat the game with Akuma, I can use any person i want to unlock Gouken?
whats so good bout fei long?
no projectiles and his kick is weak
once you unlock the players you must beat the game with each new player toobefore you can try to get Gouken and then do the 2 perfects etc thing.
can someone tell me how to beat that cock sucker seth with c viper
damn that motherfuckerhe got my fucking fingers hurting....
i got it set on easiest level and 1 round still no luck

I've been trying to unlock this guy for the past 7hrs. My fingers are sore!!

With C Viper I literally did hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>hard kick>>>>win...lol
It didn't really take that many but it kept interrupting him. And focus fire kick (whatever it is) when he got dazed.
thats how i did it too. people dont realise that on the easiest difficulty seth will fall for cheap moves. just dont jump or its dragon punch time.
I just played against some japanese exchange students and get handled
What's a good site for move lists, combos, etc? This game feels so much different from other street fighters. Could hardly pull off basic moves with ken.
servers busy What characters do you all plan to focus on using extensively?
