anyone know the origin of darkhawks powers? i know he found the amulet when he was a kid that transforms him into darkhawk but they never explained the origin of the amulet like who made it.

The amulet was made by a group of alien drug dealers as a way to protect them from the police over their home planet. During a raid it was stolen and then lost in space. The later issues of Darkhawk broke that down and he even fought a earlier version of the amulet.
