Name A Rapper That's Never Had A Hater?

peace

gz was just trying to diss Monie over that radio interview about the HipHop is Dead shit Nas started;
One of them BMF kats smacked gz up for some shit he was saying out the side of his mouth apparently;

Latifah even had them kats from Cali who responded to that FuckCompton shit going IN on her on some dyke shit - its up on utoob somewhere and is funny as fuck;

Somebody was getting on DerekX's nerves hence the PunkJumpUpToGetBeatDown track

TooShort aparently got run out of town and into Atl - wasnt no rapper but some other shit
ANY kat garnering fans, a listenership and some fame or fortune of COURSE is going to have some beef.

But I dont remember my man Redhead having any beef past AngieMartinez saying something slick,
nor 3000 past mawfuckas murmering some ecentric clothing criticisms;
dont recall any rap kats getting @ Ason even though mawfuckers were trying to kill him in real life; lol, I remember hearing that Busta & Meth got it on in a scrap, right b4 Meth cut his hair or some shit.

PE, Organized, BlackStar, Heav, JustIce, Nore, Maino, Lakey, BlackRob, L Boogie & kats may talk shit but who's coming @ E40 & the Clik? Or Diddy for that matter as a terrible rapper? How about SP or Sheek? Yeah Kid&Play's a good add as they were going to parties themselves plus on the comeup when muggs were fighting crazy, wylding in places like CityCollege, the Intrepid and whatnot in the late 80s/90s crackish era
[FLASH]http://www.youtube.com/v/QWOcqjOsMCs[/FLASH]
Most of these newer kats wouldve got washed up even going to UnionSquare, an 80s hip hop club.

peace

Luke did a track with JT Money dissing Kid n' Play, based on some BET Teen Summit diss that they did on him.

hmmmmmm.....you might be on to something.....

what rap beef has jeezy been in???

I could be wrong but he had beef with Gucci man about the ownership of "So iCY" song that ended up with Jeezy putting 50,000 dollars on gucci man head that lead to him being kidnapped. Guccie mane to his credit somehow escaped and killed one of his kidnappers and now i dont know if they still go beef. I would assume that they did cause that was some real shit.

Also Jeezy had said some shit about nas not knowing anyone in federal prison (or highlighted in fed magazine) in an interview. Which lead to some subliminal attacks by nas but that was squashed since they dropped the "my President" track.

lastly jeezy has beef with some rappers in the BMF when he saw how shit was going with that group and decided to distance himself from them before the warrants started dropping.

I read in a few magazines that some dudes ran up in his spot and tied him up.He somehow got free,grabbed a gun and started shooting.It sounds like some Indiana Jones shit,but thats what I read.

Damn.

Chuck D had a little problem with Primo because of the "1-2-3-4...9" sample on "10 Crack Commendments" i might be wrong but i think one of the primo interludes on the album "moment of truth" album might be about Chuck D. I think Chuck D even sued over the sample.

Biggie had problems with Black Thought over the "How The Do" video.

Also Nas had issues with The Roots doing Unplugged with Jay-Z. He went on the radio and said The Roots were hypocrites for doing the How They Do video and then co-signing Jay-Z. Said something about Black Thought's dreads and how he was a phony (which led to Black Thought cutting his dreads)

Only person i can think of is Devin The Dude. probably the coolest mothafucka in the rap game.

Maybe Pharcyde as well (although i don't know much about them...)

So, I'm sitting here thinking about all this 50 v. Ross beef ... and all the shit said between and about them by fans and haters

And then it got me thinking -- damn, as fickle and as competitive as rap is, I can only name a handful of rappers that have NEVER had (to my knowledge) haters or a bad thing said about them.

Never a "Oh, that nigga's music sucks" or "Yo, fuck that bitch/nigga" or "That nigga's a fraud" or "He/she ain't representing...." or assorted shit like that ...

- Q-Tip
- Devin Tha Dude
- Heavy D
- Queen Latifah (Remember she came out when there was virtually NO female rappers on the scene)
- MC Lyte
- Doug E Fresh
- Slick Rick
- Biz Markie
- Yo-Yo

New Additions:
- EPMD (until they started going at each other ... :lol: Crabs in a barrel)
- Redman
- All of the Beastie Boys
...

And that's all that really comes to mind. Ain't that a fucking shame? Like 9 Rappers. Add to it if you'd like - but that's all I can think of.

Salt N Pepa dissed Dougie Fresh, so he had haters
And the Def Squad started to diss the Hit Squad
"I gave him a two piece and biscut for no reason OH SHIT IT WAS THAT NIGGA PARISH SMITH."

Nah, Will Smith had plenty of haters. He was too "kiddie" and commerical at a time when rap was stressing "being real."

On the flipside, he was the first Rapper EVER to win a Grammy.

But the NARAS back then didn't air it on the televised portion of the show because they thought it wasn't an important category.

FF 20 years, fucking jokes on them.

No joke on them...that's why they got Lil Wayne up for all those Grammys tomorrow night...

BTW, you can't add Lil Wayne to this list...and why would you want to?

What about Busta Rhymes? He's done a song with almost every relevant mainstream rapper I can think of.

Busta hopped on that track with the Hail Mary beat to diss and Jay-Z dissed him, "...or animated like saying I Busta Rhyme" and he beefed with his original group, Leaders of the New School.

Mobb Deep dropped a line about Red having spacey azz rhymes.

You know the only person I remember dissin' Red was Biggie.

I don't know if y'all remember this old ass interview Biggie did in like '93, '94, right as he was blowing up, where he dissed KRS, for talking all that "I Am Hip-Hop" shit and I think that's the interview where he bigged up Pac, but dissed E-40, and 40 ended up almost killin' Biggie in Oakland.

It's probably the best Biggie interview I ever saw, because they asked him his opinion about everybody who was big at the time and he was being str8 up honest, not mincing words about who he thought was wack or nothing.

Somebody needs to find that shit. It was funny as hell.

I know it wasn't The Source. It was in one of those fly-by-night rap magazines.

I'm going to have to go with Freddie Foxx and Just Ice

And Bumpy Knux has dissed plenty of rappers

I always got the impression that dudes would fuck you up or shoot you fa real fa real

I always got the impression that dudes would fuck you up or shoot you fa real fa real

..Which is basically the same reason I listed a few of those type of kats (with real records not lps lol) above in my response;
Past the back & forth between himself & the R, the ONLY kat I even heard speak out towards/against Foxx is NORE;

it was during them overlooked late 90s days during a PeteRock or FutureFlavas show where NORE was talking some "FreddyFoxx shut up/Needs to Shut up" type shit - dont know if it was a joke ting, an inside message or some street shit that they worked out but it was definitely said; on wax, though, never;

also theyre are always them 'rumors' of JustIce sitting on that block in the truck with the gage, waiting on that kat who supposebly had beef or talking shit about KRS back in the day:lol:

- Q-Tip = as a member of ATCQ they had A big beef wit wrecks -n- effect....
the confrontation between the 2 groups is the reason that tip now wears glasses. the beef was so heavy a meeting was called and the ZULU NATION represented ATCQ, wrecks -n- Effects were well connected to the Harlem drug world big wigs

- Devin Tha Dude

- Heavy D - heavy had a song called "you cant see what i can see" the shit was one of the illest battle rap responses... the song was never released on an of his cd's or tapes. the song should have appeared on the BLUE FUNK cd.... the video was hot too......

- Queen Latifah (Remember she came out when there was virtually NO female rappers on the scene)

- MC Lyte - you obviously have not listened to "10 % DIS" she battled Antoinette.
Dope mixtape from female rapper Antoinette. She hails from Queensbridge, NYC and had the illest flow. She had beef with MC Lyte back in the day who accused her of being a 'Rakim sound-a-like'; In retrospect it seems more like a compliment than a diss (10% or otherwise).
http://aintitgoodtoyou.blogspot.com

- Doug E Fresh -1of his ealiest battel rap records was " get fresh doug & do the beatbox" he batteled the fat boys back in the day on some beat box shit ........ along wit this kid named eminard from harlem.

- Slick Rick - the onlt one in hip-hop to get a pass for putting out a subpar product while locked up. you dont ever fuck wit the ruler!

- Biz Markie - NOBODY BEATS THE BIZ!

- Yo-Yo - the possibility of having to fuck wit cube was way too high!!!!!!!!!!!!

- RAKIM - BIG DADDY KANE.............................. shit was crazy......it lasted at least 2 album cycles. it got to the point that RAKIM recorded a joint called "break the wrath (as in "the wrath of kane") in half. It should have appeared on the"Let the Rhythm Hit Em" album. right b 4 the album dropped Rakim got real pissed cause kane was getting a lil bit besides himself! he really tried to test the god. so Ra went on BET...... not the hip-hop segment of the video show ..........the part that donnie simpson hosted. they talked about the upcoming project for a few then he made his announcement that went something like " the next mutha phucka put my name in his mouth on any record is gonna get the bizness!!!!! dont bring that bullshit to me! this is the first & last time that i will be saying this! PEACE!

Never heard anyone disrespect this cat

20061017_100_2.jpg

He had an issue with Fat Joe about an interview where Fat Joe dissed him as a a "conscious rapper". Kweli responded something vicious on "Good to You":
"You just a big joke, thinking you a Big Pun
Yo, Kayne this is the big one (wanna be good to you)
me and my niggaz having big fun"
(He actually dissed thoughout the whole song but this was the direct shot).

Also 3000 and Kool Keith had a beef before Keith's Spankmaster album and after Stankonia. Apparently Keith felt that 3000 was trying to be something he was not:

I'm a Tell U:
.....
Everybody tryin to be George Clinto and Jimi Hendrix wannabes
......
Trendy guy like you with your man watchin Hendrix
Look at the way your corny album was mixed
That feminine stuff y'all put out was marketing tricks
Clones with costumes step out of my dressin room
Duplicators break down the reel
Your DJ funny style that makes it a trio
I don't care if you got a budget and per diem
I saw you jockin Marilyn Manson in the Niko
Your sound is outdated you network with a lot of people

Dre responded on the sly in a magazine interview. Something along the lines of washed rappers no longer being relevant. That was about the end of it though.

BIG PUN

Once again I am not 100% sure of this but from what I've heard.

Pun had issues with 50 cents over the "How to Rob" song where 50 said he would run up on pun steal his chain and just run away cause pun would be too fat to catch him. Pun responded by telling 50 that couldn't happen cause he would have his people with him on the capital punishment album.

Also before either Pun or Jay got big some people from terror squad had a run in with some people from rocafella at a club (i think jimmys). This led to the people from terror squad fucking up at least one dude from rocafella. all of this led to the line "dont get your yankee fitted splitted when we come through" which was a subliminal at jay since at that point Jay was the most well known public figure who was pushing the yankee fitted fashion style at that moment" this line was said by cuban links but the overall theme was the two crews had problems with each other. I am assuming the two crews still arent cool since no one from either camp has ever really collabo on a track except for a young jeezy remix. Also there was a song with jay talking shit about fat joe that came out recently so i am gonna say the two crews still got problems.

Also pun had beef with his wife cause he pistol whipped the fuck out of her at least once...... but thats not really rap beef i guess
