I love how people go to Trader Joe's and act like Supermarkets never existed before - LOL. I do like their wines, prices so low you can become a real alcoholic for no price!

SS, Trader Joes is a specialty grocer based in cali that sells gourmet foods, and regular stuff like eggs, and milk at good prices. The stores in Cali were much better.

They also have their own lines of food, and they sell off brand discontinued shit that larger stores don't carry such as wines, and alcohol for the cheap.

You can learn something new everyday. I bet you can't wait for tomorrow.

Ahem! I shop there, Mr. Doggish. And, I'll have you know that I DO tend to my body hair and I DO smell fresh...

But, yeah, there do be some hippy chics/dudes there sometimes, but mostly also a group of 25+ year old yuppies who are happy that right now it's just so convenient for organic and other good-for-you foods to be both cheap and trendy...

But, yeah, I do like their fine choice of salads...and the bagged Orange Mandarin Chicken...easy to prepare and good tasting!

Whole foods is more expensive. Whole foods also banned the sale of lobsters because they said the lobsters suffer when you throw them in boiling water. Whole foods has great selection of hybrid fruits.

Yea. . they are high as hell. . But I love everything I get from there. I have yet to have anything I didn't like. And they stay open till 11. . .

I'll have to go Trader Joe's a shot one day. .

Chi, have you been to Sprouts? Do they have those near you? They have the best fresh vegetables. Better than Whole Foods. I can't speak on Trader Joe's...

True, their hours are better than Trader Joe's (9-9 everyday), BUT Trader Joe's will also let you try anything off of their shelf (I've tried this before...it works!) and, if you buy something and don't like it, bring back the unused portion and get your money back, no questions asked. Now, I've only had to do this one (with some granola bars or something like that), but I don't like those things anyway, so I was just giving it a shot.

We don't have a Whole Foods here, but we have this store called Earthfare which is basically the same thing. Only darn place I can get my favorite water...

My sis buys her vitamins and everything from TJ... my moms and aunt clowned her one day, saying they needed to go to a grocery store where they could get some preservatives and trans fat in their food :lol:
