I said that i don't find it unreasonable for him to be a nut. Not that he's guilty of being a crazy fucker. Harrison is a blank slate to me as he's been "smart" enough to keep his personal life personal, which isn't a bad thing. There are two sides to every story. I'll comment on the other side when I hear it, I'm just not as quick to run to the next man's defense. Since you want to play defense attorney, give me some contrary evidence.

The fact that i haven't heard anything about these problems with fans and ball boys before now leads me to believe that they may have been minor incidents. But on the other side, Harrison and, implicitly, the Colts have been pretty solid on not saying anything about the current story, so I have no reason to believe that they weren't serious altercations. Just because we didn't hear about it until now doesn't mean it wasn't serious.
What the writer is taking a fairly heavy handed approach at is that we don't know shit about Harrison. We have no reason to believe he's the type of guy that wouldn't do something like bust off mid-day in the city.

I don't know homie, as you said, there are details missing from that story, but we don't have the other side of the story because Harrison nor the colts have said shit about it. All we have is the jets ballboy and the officer from the scenes testimony, and the police report in the other instance. True, why was there nothing from the other Colts? Surely he would have called someone from the team, say another receiver, that should have been on the field that day. Maybe it is yellow journalism. On the other hand, the Colts may have told the team to keep their mouths shut on the issue.

Sure he's an adult, he can do what he want's, but why be in the hood fucking with ex-cons as a multimillionaire? Sure it doesn't say anything substantial about their relationship, they may have not really known each other even though it says they grew up together.
And I don't see where it says dixon changed his story three times. It sounds like he may have given them the run around because he didn't want to snitch, or maybe he thought Harrison would go to work on his ass with a pair of pliers and a blow torch if he said something. Of course, you may be right. He may have just lied for no reason, but that doesn't explain why he would flip after they told him that the bullets match the gun, unless we're to assume that this part is made up to.
Of course, I grew up in the suburbs, so maybe you have a different perspective.
edit: the other witness, the one who was shot, doesn't seem shady. The article says that he came up off the info smooth and doesn't say that he sued although Dixon has tried to sue Harrison. Were you talking about the anonymous tip?

I know what i'm saying. I said it's not unreasonable for him to be off. There may have been other incidents that no one knows about. I grew up with cats that have gone to jail for armed robbery. Coming up, I wouldn't have thought that they would be involved with anything like that, now they're in the pen. They may have been small-town scarfaces when I wasn't around, but when they were around me, they were no different from any of my other friends.
All I'm saying is that since I don't know anything about Harrison's character to make me say otherwise, I have no reason to believe that he was not involved in this.
