diddy shot that black women in the face
see this is why the media is powerful
people like you dont question anything
you base your opinion off of someones elses speculation
you dont know what happened with the fan or the ballboy
and 2 incidences within a long career is nothing
but you agree with the writer, who doesnt know shit either
if you really paid attention, one would think that Harrison is one of the smartest athletes of today
What the fuck does Shyne have to do with this?
![]()
Uhhhh, he was also shooting wildly all over the place while "defending his turf." Shot a black woman in the face. (He's a "hero" to some too.)

What does Arnold have to do with anything?

Millions of other people have shot other people too. Why didnt you list any of them?
So you think what Shyne did is the same as what ESPN alleges Marvin did?
If you know Marvin did it you better go talk to the cops about it.
I said that i don't find it unreasonable for him to be a nut. Not that he's guilty of being a crazy fucker. Harrison is a blank slate to me as he's been "smart" enough to keep his personal life personal, which isn't a bad thing. There are two sides to every story. I'll comment on the other side when I hear it, I'm just not as quick to run to the next man's defense. Since you want to play defense attorney, give me some contrary evidence.

Do you find it unreasonable to believe any of those things about him based on ESPN hearsay? I sure as fuck do. He could be a serial killer but we don't know that.
If you're on a rival team's field and a grown man from the jets throws a ball hard at you and you dont take offense you're a bitch. Its the NFL not central park on Friday. If you make contact with opposing team players and it aint the nice kind there is beef.
Believe it or not people have actually fought before games not just pushed each other.
The "kid" story is bullshit. It said teenagers not children. Get the difference? Its ESPN. 19yrs old are teenagers right? It either didnt know the ages or they were adults and they wanted the event to seem as fucked up as possible.
They told the kids* no and the guys got pissed and started talking shit and Marvin hemmed one up. You think he beats down 280lb convicts but cant take out kids* if he wanted to?
The story is bullshit. If ESPN was a courtroom we'd all get the death penalty from fuckin hearsay from liars and people looking to get paid off of bullshit.

your right, I don't know that he's not a serial killer because I don't know shit about Marvin harrison. Did you grow up with him? can you attest to his character? maybe i missed an outside the lines about him being an upstanding pillar of society.
The fact that i haven't heard anything about these problems with fans and ball boys before now leads me to believe that they may have been minor incidents. But on the other side, Harrison and, implicitly, the Colts have been pretty solid on not saying anything about the current story, so I have no reason to believe that they weren't serious altercations. Just because we didn't hear about it until now doesn't mean it wasn't serious.
What the writer is taking a fairly heavy handed approach at is that we don't know shit about Harrison. We have no reason to believe he's the type of guy that wouldn't do something like bust off mid-day in the city.
so a known thug/trouble maker who changed his statements more than 3 times means nothing to you
what more evidence do you need
or the other witness who was just as shady
its quite obvious, dont bother that man, and he wont bother you
that goes for the grown ballboy, the fans, and the thugs that are willing to destroy and disrespect his place of business
hell the article made the thug seem like a choir boy
that doesnt raise flags for you?
Folks who shoot innocent people are usually punished, and they don't get turned into HEROES on this board the way Shyne and now Harrison have been. Duhhhh!!!!!
Shot a bystander. Obviously.
So you're saying the cops are supporting a famous black man who engaged in some wild gunplay? I thought they liked to take down guys like that. (Actually, it's the D.A. who's letting him off.)
I'm just going by YOUR interpretation of the facts.
Retarded Lying Cunt said:You said that you admired the fact that he shot at the dude. Yet someone else, not involved in the action, apparently was the one who got hit and a little kid almost did. Who shot those bullets? YOU claim that Harrison did, since you praised him for "defending his turf."
Makkonnen said:felonious parolee comes back and gets shot at by someone who may or may not be marvin with a gun that may or may not be marvin's
you make my case for me - that there is no evidence of any of what the writer is trying to claim is lurking beneath the surface - then you agree with him
you say we dont know shit about marvin
then you use that to lay claim to not knowing marvin wouldn't do something criminal
thats the problem
look at what youre saying
Do we really know nothing about Marvin? or do we know that in 15+ years of public life as a celebrity athlete he has had no problems at all?
So over Marvin's entire life ESPN could only come up with a skirmish with a group of fans in hawaii and a ball boy.
15years of trouble free living trumps unfounded accusations unless you are espn and the people stupid enough to listen or read them
You dont know your mom isnt secretly an alien being from another world masking her identity either do you? Better watch out.
Look at the flick they drew of him. Make Ol boi look super evil.

ESPN goes hard at black athletes and suck off the over glorified white nothings. I mean, just check it, when was the last time espn ever said anything negative about a white dude!![]()
Matt Jones was caught chopping up coke and didn't get near the treatment MH is getting in this article.
lets see
marvin went to high school and college
was quiet and stayed out of trouble in school and in the nfl
one day a convicted felon on parole went up to marvin ..............
felonious parolee catches a beatdown
felonious parolee comes back and gets shot at by someone who may or may not be marvin with a gun that may or may not be marvin's
oh yeah he's a regular jon dillinger

sounds like marvin aint the one to be fucked with
bout to cop a harrison jersey
How yall cats don't see the BULLETS MATCH THE GUN FACT is way beyond me. Someone fired multiple shots and hit two people from Marvin Harrison's gun. That's a fact. There's no debate there. How Marvin is saying hey, it wasnt me - don't apply to regular people.
I like Marvin Harrison. Always have. He is the ultimate professional football player BUT c'mon mane.
oNE
Every time they catch a serial killer it is because of one fuck up when they have got more bold, then they end up finding out dude has like 20 bodies all over the place. And everytime everybody says that the serial killer was a quite, normal guy. Aint no telling what he got his hands into. We all got stories of how local athletes are in the game.
Flat out, our athletes need to stop giving these fucks at ESPN the ammo.
Stay out the fucking bars, clubs and out the 'hood'. Shit aint that hard.
Marvin need to be thanking god he doesnt do endzone daces or speak his mind or the press would be on this way deeper. I'm sure they just wish this was TO.
You have evidence that Harrison shot someone? If so call the Philly authorities. Ohh you dont? You just read the article?
WTF? Youre not making sense bitch.
You claim Marvin shot someone like you know it for a fact- go tell the proper authorities so Marvin can be brought to justice.
My interpretation of the STORY or the FACTS?
Do you see a difference between the story and fact?
Stupid bitch
can you read?
So that's me claiming Harrison shot someone?
How injured is the shot man?
And you have yet to explain why your innocent victim who was shot was put in jail and lied to police about the shooting.

Who the fuck is Matt Jones compared to HOFer Harrison, and when did Jones shoot up a neighborhood (and then get off)?
Folks really should cool it with these lame and desperate black/white comparisons. Try to at least stay in the same ballpark.
espn is becoming worse than actual police
this story is reaching so hard to find fault in Harrisons character
its almost sickening
For example:
Harrison doesnt go to his high school
Harrison isnt revitalizing his neighborhood although he is purchasing property there (idiocy)
No one knows him, he didnt even let his college teammates in
bla bla bla
they have nothing but minor incidences with annoying fans
anyone whose ever played big time ball knows how aggravating fans are
they think you owe them something since they support the team
espn and their continuous attack of the black athlete
look how far they reached to make you doubt a quiet athlete
He must have taken Eddie Murphy's advice.
"I saw y'all together!"
"Wasn't me..."

We expect our heroes to let us in, to show us more than their game faces. But over the course of Marvin Harrison's 13 years in the NFL, the Colts receiver has built an All-Pro career behind a firewall of privacy. Quiet precision defines his every move. On the field, he starts each route identically, forcing defenders to guess where he's headed. In the locker room, he sits facing his tidy booth, away from the media and teammates. At home, he keeps each touchdown ball he's ever caught in its own box.
To be fair, Harrison owes fans and teammates nothing beyond his best efforts on the field. But the more he leaves blank, the more we fill in. He flashes no bling, no gold teeth. There are no Sharpies and no whining. What products does he endorse? Who is he dating? We have no idea, so we ascribe to him the qualities he shows in games and of those around him—the earnest indefatigability of Manning, the quiet strength of Dungy. For fans, this trio personifies old-school virtues: the Colts as color-blind, hardworking winners.
But that, as it happens, may say more about us than about No. 88.
"Looks like Marvin caught another pass."

sounds like envy of a man's success and a witch hunt to find something wrong with this man so that they can reduce another black man to nothing
