As This Gaza Invasion Escalates, I'm Finding It Harder To Like Obama

Although bush is still the president, u.s. foreign policy in the middle east is going to remain the same under an obama administration. The tiny nation of Israel is the recipent of a whopping 5 billion usd per year in economic and military aid; this exceeds u.s. aid to entire regions of the world.

In addition, washington has allowed(via veto power) israel to time and again break international laws and erect illegal settlements in occupied lands. The fact of the matter is that the jews have a lot of power in the world and a lot of economic and political power in the u.s. Hence, there is little to nothing that a u.s. president can do to change the fundamental dynamics of u.s. israeli relations, which is obviously biased towards israel.

The palestinians are guilty of wrong doing as well and I don't think a solution to the conflict is anywhere in sight.

:yes::yes: some of these idiots don't understand this.

c/o sign; The US media on these attacks are bias against "Hamas" which is a democratically elected government by the Palestinians. Killing of innocent civilians in a military strike is know excuse.:angry::angry:

Well gee its a good thing the democratically elected government called Hamas would never kill any innocent civilians with strikes of their own right?

Right?

Get real lets at least admit both sides asked for this.

WTF does launching missles into another country have anything to do with zionism and foreign policy? Mofo's are launching bombs on top of people period. Blast em!...their land ain't coming back so they need to ante up and negotiate a settlement.
