carolina panthers are garbage!

bump. 10-3 #1 in the South. Panthers ARE garbage.

ok, the panthers handled their shit tonight and looked good in the 2nd half. no argument.

but when the panthers lost, it was dismissed as a bad game fluke. so when the panthers win, all of a suddent they're super bowl favorites?

10 wins: 5 of them over the lions, raiders, chargers, packers and chiefs? half their wins against losing squads?

That's just the nature of the fan(atic). Getting carried away by a winning streak. I still remember after the Jets beat Tennesse a couple weeks ago how many people had them in the Super Bowl. The opposite is also true. Lose a few and suddenly, they pose with bags over their heads and call for the scapegoats (usually the highest paid black players) neck

When the Panthers lost it was a fluke. We've won 6 of our last 7 games. Our starting RB has scored a TD in his past 7 games. and leads the league in that category. Steve Smith despite missing the first 2 games to suspension has already surpassed the 1,000 yards receiving barrier. You bring up the weak AFC West teams we've beat up, but we've also beat winning teams like the Cards, Falcons, Saints, & Bucs.I never once called us "Superbowl Contenders" just said its laughable that the fact the lowly Raiders "got up" to play us (and still lost by the way) and made it a game makes us "garbage".

not just the AFCW, i also mentioned the green bay packers.

more importantly, the panthers SPLIT with their division rivals (bolded and colored above), so it's not like they stand clearly head and shoulders above them.

and look at tampa bay; they fattened up their record with games against the lions, seahawks, packers and chiefs. i mean, damn, the ONLY reason the saints have managed to build a respectable (barely winning) record AT ALL is because 5 of their 7 wins were against tomato can tune up teams: 49ers? raiders? chargers? chiefs? packers?

the panthers' season highlight was a solid win against the cards (who are going to win thier division BY DEFAULT because the other teams are so bad (similar to denver and the AFCW). and what are the cards? great O, poor D. 5 of their 8 wins are courtesy of league doormats 49ers, rams and seahawks.

When they beat the Raiders I said they had a bad game, when they list to Atlanta I said they were fuckin up. If anything, I am realistic about my squad. It's gonna take a lot of work for them to get to the superbowl, much less win it, but it's not impossible..

With the Cowgirls loss last night, Carolina has clinched a playoff berth. Not bad for a "garbage" team ehh Cranrab? :)

i officially retract my previous comment. definitely not garbage.

but i think at the time i made it, it was true. much as the giants hit late season stride last year, i think the panthers have now found their stride.

tonight's game against the giants was like watching the superbowl, or i guess, an NFC championship game.

last week's dismantling of the broncos was meaningless. look what buffalo did to the broncos today.

but the panthers played a fiercely competitive game against the giants tonight and gave them all they could handle.

i officially retract my retraction.

shame on me for allowing you all to persuade me into thinking differently about this garbage.

yada, yada, yada about only halftime.

this shit is disgusting. the cards are going to eliminate the whole damn nfc south by themselves.

i officially retract my retraction.

the cardinals are about to eliminate the entire nfc south single handedly.

and shame on me for allowing y'all to dissuade me.

cardinals are going to single handedly eliminate the entire nfc south from the playoffs.

:smh:

Wouldn't throw the whole team under the bus, but Delhomme....
:smh:

true, i can't lay any blame on the running game because of circumstances. the cards early lead dictated that the panthers abandon the running game, which turned the panthers into a 1 dimensional team.

that allowed the cards to rush delhomme w/o worrying about the rush, BUT the cards were 22nd in pass defense (yardage) and worst pass defense (TDs).

and the panthers could only score 1 TD through the air in garbage time?

Play calling was a factor, time to put Jake on suicide watch
I'm a huge panthers fan, but this gif makes me laugh

It's going to be hard getting to 12-4 next year. Panthers schedule is crucial.:(

Atlanta, New Orleans and Tampa Bay, the Panthers will host Philadelphia, Washington, Buffalo, Miami and Minnesota, and play on the road against Dallas, the New York Giants, New York Jets, New England and Arizona

Are you serious? That's gotta be the toughest schedule in the NFL next year
