I've got OFFICE 2007 on my pc at present. I don't really use it though. A bit of Word. That's about it. Should I bother grabbing this?

grab it because down the line someone you know will need it. you might also need it. keep it in a folder. i have a programs folder thats like 90 gigs i save just about everything and delete old shit every 2 years or so.


as far as installing it, nah i wouldnt. if all you need is word, what's the point. i have all the office flavors (enterprise, pro, blue, etc) but the only thing i have installed is the standalone version of word 2007. i dont need all that other shit but thats just me.

Yes delete 2003 and install 2007. But I would uninstall after your install of 2007 is complete. If you have the disk for 2003 it dont matter anyway.

I helped him buy his VERY FIRST DESKTOP 1.5 weeks ago. He's still very green when it comes to the internet (having only used it briefly in the past at work/firehall, and also in passing at his girlfriend's place + mine).

I've helped him load a ton of good programs on there ... showed him how to use some ... got him hip to Firefox, loaded his bookmarks with all his faves, etc. Trying to make this transition into MODERN DAY LIFE ( ) as smooth as possible. He gets flustered just trying to COMPOSE AN EMAIL
