It's been that way for years. I've never understood it! It's like when Peppers does good, Jake sucks as well as Kasey (K)!

Yes. They could quite possibly be the best team. I would be surprised if we went to the Conference Finals this year.

it was based on that miserable black hole of a game on sunday where jake delhomme set his season high in INTS against a raiders squad that just dumped a starting CB a few days prior.
it was based on jake delhomme completing fewer passes than the raiders 3rd string QB.
it was based on the panthers only putting up 2 TDs against the raiders, and only 2 raiders opponents have scored FEWER points: the chiefs
and the jets.it was based on steve smith having ONE completion for NINE yards.
it's partially based on the panthers having padded their W column by feasting on the disgrace called the AFC West (as diamels pointed out), and having played more home games than road games.
to be fair, i don't believe tampa and atlanta are representative of 6-3 teams, either.

Again, they had a bad game, it happens, but that doesn't say that the team is garbage. 2 of the 3 wins vs the afc west, 1 of which was San Diego,the other 2 were games they should have won, bottom line, beat the teams that you are supposed to. even with the 4 picks by Jake, the 1 catch by Smitty, they still got the job done. We beat Chicago (division Leaders)we beat Arizona (Division leaders) we lost to a division rival and Minnesota when they were hot. Bottom line Carolina is 7-2 and leading their division, how does that say garbage? Guess we'll see how the season ends, btw who is your squad?

As far as the Panthers, I've never been a Jake Delhomme fan. Always thought he got the hype solely because the Panthers went to the Super Bowl a few years back.
I feel and respect the opinions about the Panthers. I'll admit inconsistant play kills them everytime!! However our whole division is like that!! I will say Garcia is the best QB, therefore Tampa has better chances BUT are likely too pull a Carolina move in the end. Atlanta is just as wild as Carolina which is way it's such a great matchup!! They kicked some ass last night but got their ass kicked the same way earlier this season. I'm not taking anything away from the boys, Ryan did his shit, but they "HAD" to win last night!! As for Tampa, they'll lose to Carolina on the 8th! I promise! I've seen it too many times, also that is Carolina's "must win" game as well as Denver!! Lastly, as for N.O. it's a case of too little, too late. They are the exciting team but play like the old Tampa! And yes Garcia is better than Brees as far as making "PLAYS THAT MATTER"!! 300+pass yards don't mean shit if you can't snatch the win! peace

I am so pissed right now, there is no reason that they should be this fuckin shaky and inconsistent. As much as I dig Jake, I'm about ready for a new QB that won't look at Smitty ass the 1st, 3rd and 4th option all game. The need to balance the offense and give other receivers a little more trust. They better not fuck this up and give the division away.
they'll get it back. A good lost "at the right time" can lift the play. I'm more worried about play calls on offensive rather than Jake at the moment!! For example, look at the play calls from week 1 to week 7, then compare it to the following games. They never went to back to the shit that works (week 1-7) until late in the Atlanta game when it was almost a shutout!! However, Jake isn't the greatest, but he's a monster when they draw up the right plays!! I think we could use a fresh "NEW" FB in the mix as well as a "NEW" Punter, and 1 02 2 more on the O-Line. Regardless, they'll make the playoffs and beat Tampa! I just hope Atlanta tops Tampa in the race, but they play as crazy us. Lucky for us, we tend to play harder than our whole division in the Playoffs!! Also
it would be a nice upset to beat NY. YES NY! Like we usually do!!
