In my humble opinion, it isn't a male or female thing. It just shows itself to many of us males when we begin to get it back in the form of a relationship.
Many people test the boundaries of those we interact with. Contention, insult, physical threat, manipulative measures all allow us to know what we can and can't do in a much quicker manner than asking. Call it "being tested by fire."
For perspective and balance, I will admit that I say and do things to women to see how far I can go. In my own way, I am testing their sexual restraint or lack thereof. I think those women who you feel only respond to "a dude getting crazy on they ass" are testing for passive or aggressive traits, ie, are you a pushover or a crazed "thug", so to speak... and ultimately, you have to decide can you deal with a woman's response to your actual level of that particular characteristic. Some women will call you a "bitch" if you don't slap them for wearing certain clothes, some women will call you a "bitch" if you do...

I think it shows that the woman has some serious ISSUES if she likes that behavior. The bedroom is one thing, but to have a man put you in check in order to deem his as worthy of yourself screams "Daddy Issues"!
I've dealt with these types of women in the past, and each can be traced back in time with an altercation or lack of emotional support and/or love from their father which prompts them to have fucked up responses to the way a man treats a woman in a "normal" relationship.

I've been in the game for a long time and I've never had to go crazy/dramatic to get a point across. Never referred to a woman as a bitch. Never had to! So IMO it seems you share much of the blame in the women you have selected. There's more to a woman than looks, tits and ass. Maybe those who you have been dealing with are not real women, just older girls.
I suggest taking a look at yourself an examine what is important to you when it comes to women. Are you considering all she may or may not have to offer. Women far out number men so it's not like you need to rush into a relationship.

Trust me dude, sometimes you need to let a "b" bomb come out in certain situations. I used to be about this "respecting ladies all the fucking time" shit, but from past experience, that shit don't work all the time. However, when you do call a woman one, make sure its the last ditch effort for her to fucking listen to you. Meaning, don't call her a bitch just to be calling her one, and don't be apologetic either. Take an "if I call a you a bitch, I meant that shit because your ass did something to make me call you one* approach. Yeah, she'll be mad at first, but if you're a good man, she would understand in the long run.
Ladies, don't come to me with this "good men don't disrespect women" bullshit. On the most part, a good dude would not, however, you keep fucking with him he might just hit that special nerve.
