And the final one -- Author and lecturer Leo Buscaglia once talked about

a contest he was asked to judge.

The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child.

The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an

elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife.

Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's

yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there.

When his Mother asked what he had said to the neighbour, the little boy

said, 'Nothing, I just helped him cry'

You're a heartless fuck if some of these didn't touch your heart.

That's one of the ones that got me too.
No doubt, these kids have figured something out that people 10 times their age are still struggling with.

I am shook... ALl the comments about the love of MOMS and POPS for their children... DAMN THIS MADE MY DAY...:D

It looks like a lot of kids have been listening to their parents tell them what love is. Kids tend to repeat things they hear. At this age love is superficial.

I'm scrooging on this thread!

Love on hell. :D

Stop scrooging Andey...lol

That may be partially true but children are in essence love itself. Inherently innocent. Don't discount what they say. People NEED to listen to what they think and say more often. You would be amazed at what goes through their minds :)

Ten I love that you actually posted on this side. :) You never do and well I appreciate that you did.

Love always suga.

WOW...I came in this thread with the wrong perception...this is a remarkable thread, TEN...much props to you for starting it...

Wouldn't it be amazing if we kept the same thoughts about love that we had as we are kids? Love is just that simple, though...

Awwww I love the one about the toenails! That was sweet...

But it has me wondering about my children and if I am not "tender" enough w/ my boys...

I asked my 7 year old Zion here is our convo from 5 minutes ago:

Zion wakes up from candy binge-see's mommy at the desktop and not on her laptop and rolls his eyes...

I give him a hug and say Good Morning Chocolate Boy-Do you love me? He says yes..I asked him do you know what love means? And he says "yes it is when you really really like someone" so I probe and ask..."Do you think I love you?" He says "yes" I said "how do you know?" He said "because when I a am bad and you whip me and say you are going to drop kick me but you dont and you dont kill me either"
:hmm:
I told him to go wash the pirate makeup off his face......

You won't believe this but your son had you where he wanted you when you started that conversation. I don't know why moms make bogus claims their kids know they can't/won't keep.

Lolol And you know I threaten them all the time all day...
