I was never a big fan of techno but i went to this club in DC and it was all techno music plus i was high as fuck.so high that i was feeling like i was walking funny but back to the point shit was cool as fuck with the light and etc..yall know any good techno dj's? good looks fam

You know why tecno has a bad rep?
1. We've all been to a club where they were playing some good shit and then the dj came in with some pop techno and cleared the dance floor.

Truth of the matter is, if you get a good dj, that really handles his or her biz....techno is tight.

I still keep Daft Punk and The Crystal Method in rotation from time to time on my iPod. Been trying to get my hands on some edIT, got one CD of his. Haven't really heard of any other DJ's that do the type of techno-electronica that I'm into. I might hear a song once, like it and then never know who the artist is/was. That's another drawback to my techno ineptitude

These were the pioneers of what is now called tecno. Infact there is a thread devoted to house music in the music section.

102.7 WBMX !!!! I was in high school and worked there for a summer program with Bad Boy Bill,and Ksnny Jammin Jason along with Farley, Steve Silk Hurley, and Julian Jumpin Perez. Thats how I got started in the biz !!!

What Techno was(aka acid)and what is today are two different things. Just like garage music and UK garage. I fucks with old school(80's early 90's Techno) but not that bs that white folks transformed it into.
