Best Horror Movie ?

My moms took me to see this shit as a reward for not crying after a shot when I was mad young. That shit fucked me up so bad...:smh: I never watched it again until my mid 20's when my peoples made me watch it. To this day I don't fuck with nothing with kids singing in it.:smh::hmm:

Man thats the only movie I watch with the lights on..

The concept and marketing was brilliant. The actual movie...not so much.

I disagree. It was the perfect horror film, made on no budget. No dumb special effects. No stars. Just old school chills based on suggestion and imagination, rather than explicitness, and done in a then-fresh "reality" framework (that's never been matched, despite many wannabes).

I've still never seen the movie or read the book...i know, i'm sleeping.:smh:

:eek:Yooo, i thought I was the only one. I was the lil kid peeking out his window to see if the killer was out there. The sound of that niggas voice still fucks with me.

Exorcist
I remember back in college we were showing this movie as part of the Halloween midnight free flick. I was the projectionist setting up the film in the booth. I'd start the movie and left the booth after the first ten minutes of the film w/ the 35mm projector left unattended. I've set up this film 4 other times. But never watched it completely. To this day...i still haven't watched this movie in its entirety.

Deliverance
Dont ever ask me to go camping or kayaking unless its heavily populated area with people we know.

The Thing
The music alone sent chills down my spine when I was a lil kid.

Didn't think it was all that when I first watched it, but as the years go by, it just gets more effective by the minute.

Man you gotta respect Children of the Corn: "Malaki, he wants you too Malaki, he wants you too."

The movie 'It,' is up there too.

But I gotta go with Pet Sematary, the first one.

Exorcist had to be the scariest movie for me. My mom wouldn't let me watch it for so many years, she was afraid I would bring some type of evil spirits in the home. Because of all the deaths that happened on set during the filming that made this movie even more scarier to me.

I saw this movie when i was little
scared da shyt out of me
especially when the twin girls appeared in the hallway:eek:

The 1960's version with Duane Jones and the 1990's version with Tony Todd are classics. Something about Zombies I still can't get over. I'm fascinated by them and at the same time zombie still scare me in certain ways.
