To call or text a chick when you first meet?


just curious cause i got a female's number today and she told me to text her tonight. I've seen her on campus on about two times and she never made eye contact. I was wondering what that means and if i should text her tonight or on thursday? if so should I call or text?

If you're really interested, just text her tonight like she said. She might be somewhere tonight where she can't talk but she can text you.
 
I'm slightly bothered by the fact that she told you to text her vs. calling her. Texting takes no social skill...

You should wait a day and call her.. that is what I would do...

But maybe she really wants to connect with him tonight but can't talk. At least she gave him her number.

Most women will say "Call me some time" and leave it up to the man to call in a couple of days. But she specifically said to contact her tonight. Maybe she just wants to see if he's interested enough to do it.

how can u be sure about that. A text is a subtle way of saying "I want some attention but not too much". I remember I had this girl who insisted that I txt her n not call her but I stopped dealing with her n my partner met her n hit it off with her. Come to find out she was crazy as cat shit, 24 yrs old with a very good job but living at home paying rent WITH A CURFEW. So she was real fukked up in the head.

But playboy from now on in, Im on it like this. I meet a chick, introduce myself, some small talk n I tell her take my number n give me a call when she get a chance. That way all that bullshit about "when to call" etc etc is eliminated. When she calls u then you know she's feeling you.

Since she said just to text her then he is not a priority to her. He she was really feeling him then she would have told him to call her. all he has to do is send cute text messages and he in the game. He can fuck and never really call her
 
i sent a text message to her. if she dont respond back im just going to move on. fuck it.

after she gae me her number i've seen her today on two different occasion and she never looked my direction. maybe she didn't notice me. ill give her until tomarrow, friday the latest.

I have never heard a woman say no shit like I gave dude number and can you believe that fool did not wait a few days to call me... call the girl and see whats up... here is what to do... i have done it a few times... "hey how are you, was not sure if to call or wait a bit, then i realized i'm to damn old for those games (and laugh a little)... the girl will always giggle with you and assure you that you did the right thing by not waiting... also puts in her mind that you dont play games (even if you do)...

on the other hand she could have been afraid of your ass and said that shit to make you think she was into your ass and allow you to stop pressing her... hope its not the number to the local Chinese spot homie... lol
