Man I'm so sick and tired of folks talking about the SEC....yeah I'm a hater....call me what you want but who da hell said the SEC was Football Country....

Da Media dubs this the greatest football conference in da world and I don't for the life of me know why....LSU, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Auburn....Let's see Alabama beat South Carolina who sucks Tulane, and Western KY....WoW... Auburn but up a whopping 3 points against Miss State...beat Louisiana Monroe wooo....the talent....

The SEC doesn't really play anyone...none of the big schools with the exception of Florida steps out of the conference to play anyone real....and honestly Hawaii and Miami both suck....as you seen last year Hawaii didn't stand a chance against a team with a defense...Sorry Boise St fans....yours was the App State victory of the fall....

Folks claim SEC teams beat each other well hell that's the only time they play schools with any chance of beating them until bowls and most of the time they get the easier of the bowl games...See above game as proof

I hate Ohio State....but at least their willing to travel to a real team and test their skills early in the season (probably won't happen again)....i would love to see LSU against OK in the beginning of the season....Florida against Missouri....Georgia against a real school period....

Until this happens fuck da SEC......

Question who won the last two National Title game SEC and I think that the SEC has more titles than any other 12 NCAA Division I-A National Football Championships: 1925, 1926, 1930, 1934, 1941, 1961, 1964, 1965, 1973, 1978, 1979, and 1992; the university also cites five additional national championship seasons based on NCAA records: 1945, 1962, 1966, 1975, and 1977 Florida has 2 1996 and 2006 LSU has 1908 - mentioned with 1 other team 1935 - mentioned with 4 other teams 1936 - mentioned with 3 other teams 1958 - mentioned with 1 other team 1962 - mentioned with 4 other teams
2003 - BCS national champions 2007 - BCS national champions Georgia has one in 1980.Auburn has one in 1957 Tennessee has 3 1938, 1951, and 1998 so looking at the stats yeah they are right the SEC is the best

you got it all mixed up...Florida doesn't go out and play anybody on the road OOC like LSU, Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee does. They bank on either Miami or FSU being a "tough road game". I've never seen them play any other team OOC on the road that is not Miami or FSU in recent memory.

SEC is king, look at the top 10 rankings this week. I remember when LSU played OK in the national title game and crushed them. The Big 10 and Big 12 are a dying conference. Michigan just lost to Notre Dame! Get your facts right before you start another thread.

SOme nigga needed attention...

SEC has TEAMS (as in more than one or two) ranked every year. May as well say fuck the polls.

All of these SEC fans....man ya kill me....hell yeah they win the BCS/National Championship year in and year out.....look they "da media" have based teams from the SEC on their history....it doesn't matter who they play....they start so close to the front all they have to do is beat the teams their suppose to beat and they can stay there all year.....that shit hurt Georgia this year because they went from 1 to 3 they haven't lost a game but finally folks realize that don't mean shit if you don't play no one....now of course by season end....LSU will be a 3/4, Auburn, 4/5, Florida (TEBO HYPE)5/6....but in the beginning of the season it was OH Tenn will be a threat a true challenge.....and now that Ala has won a game or two it's OH Ala's time is now....let them lose and it's oh it's just a hard game against any SEC school....whatever man.....Play Someone....hell go to a few of these schools like BYU, Mizzu, Texas Tech, South Florida, Lou, VA Tech, hell Fresno ST.....
All I'm saying is play a team that's aleast decent....and let's see what they got....it's not just the SEC I'm saying that about the same goes for some of the other schools that always crack the top 4 or 5 spots....but it's like Mich and Notre Dame....even you SEC fans will admit...they've lived off of past glory but at least they play teams worth playing....hell Notre Dame whether their good or bad always steps out and plays decent teams....maybe it's because their an independent....but just my thought.....

Yo, honestly, I would accept that the SEC is the best football conference. I am a Pac 10 guy (Go Cal). But it only stands to reason that they should be. The SEC schools are in some of the wackest locations in the country. There is nothing else to do there other than football. They are out in the deep deep country. I think a lot of the West Coast schools (at least the student bodies) have options to do other things around the metropolitan cities they are located in other than go to a football game. Hence the reason that they are so good. Man, when I walk around campus here at Cal, I see so many people who just don't care about football. I am a football fan, and the tickets here are so easy to come by... and cheap!

No other conference has so many good teams. Being in the SEC means you don't have to go outside the conference to play quality teams.

honestly, I'm a big 12 dude through and through, however, why none of the SEC schools wanna play the big 12 in Non conference. Let me revise that, why Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and LSU never want to play Texas, Ou, Tech, or Missouri? Auburn, Alabama, and Arkansas do however...

Someone answer that for me!

Tradition Alabama and Arkansas has a history with the Big 12. Southwest Conference ect.

Location There is alot of money to be made here with the ACC.

They don't want to play anymore tough games than they have to. GA has to play Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Geogia Tech, Clemson, and TN. I guess they figure thats tough enough. lol

I understand what you are saying, but the constant argument for years have been Big 12 vs SEC. ACC will never be at the level the Big 12 is in. For one, Florida have too many schools now. Meaning, FSU and Miami is in constant competition with other schools. The Virginia schools are weak at best. Boston College should be in the big 10, same with Notre Dame *IMO*. What are you left with Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Duke, Clemson, and North Carolina? In the big 12, Texas, OU, Missouri, Tech, and possibly Nebraska and Colorado in the future. Not to mention, the Kansas teams, and the Aggies *when they become formidable again*. The only true weak links in the Big 12 is Baylor and Iowa State.

So, my question is this, why can't LSU, and Tennessee play some Texas schools other than North Texas?
