Have you noticed when they come to your door they like to use terms like 'all honest hearted people would have to agree...' or 'we're talking to people who want to live in a peacefull world.'

Those are phrases that short circuit your mind to be more agreeable to their message. Most people like to think of themselves as honest hearted and most will agree that they want to live in a peacefull world. By disarming you with such phrases you are now more vulnerable to their message.

I have to agree with you on being weak minded. I watch Fox just to see the lies that put out there for people. They talk over there guest so there points are not heard. I saw Sen. If you go on that show to debate Hannity you have to know he won't give you much time to really discuss your point of view. TV news is all about soundbites. If you can't state your point of view in 6 seconds, he'll interrupt you & use his jedi mind tricks.

I watch msnbc, fox news, and CNN and all of them have their good and bad points and their bias's...I think for myself, no TV program whether its right wing or left wing, can manipulate how I think.

It's not the debaters that is falling for these things...it's the Fox Viewers. The guy in the video said that the professor did a good job...it's just that Fox News and the people like them use these tricks on the VIEWERS and it doesn't take much to see that it works.
