I just wanted a more general perspective. I was engaged in a random convo with my old high school crew (men and women), and after 3 apple martinis the women were just kickin' their game. I was surprised that shoes matter to women whether male or female. The car was a toss up, but it had to be clean inside and out. Slow dancing was interesting, most were complemented but they just wanted to feel the bulge, but not getting poked in the hip/thigh/belly.
I don't remember the last time I danced with someone...

I like to see clean shoes on a man. Dirty shoes are a turn-off unless he works construction, trashman, etc.
The car isn't important if he has a nice house. If he lives in a run-down apartment, drives a 20 year old car and isn't in school or working toward a goal then I can't be bothered. Of course this depends on his age. It's ok to be getting it together in your 20's, but if you're in your 30's and 40's and you're not trying to come up then we have a problem.
There's nothing wrong with catching wood during a slow dance. Most men are horny creatures. If I'm physically attracted to the man then it's definitely complimentary.
