I hate these kinds of test. If I say strongly disagree it's going to label me a leftist, when I actually don't think a central authority should be trying to control either.

I think it depends, but controlling inflation is always a good thing. 50% unemployment with low inflation is still a fucked situation right?

I think this other contrasts civilization with full-on anarchy rather than authoritarianism vs. individual liberties.

I really don't care about controlling the social aspect of society. That's how I'm different from the republicans.

the other quiz did the same thing lol. Never knew I was a libertarian...

I would say the first one goes left or right dictates how much freedom business should have and up or down shows how much freedom individuals should have.

Or put another way, left or right is economic freedom and up and down is social freedoms.

I think they should have more options for the answers, like "slightly agree", or "depends on the weather." Great questions and scenarios, but without the gray areas I really didn't feel it could give me an accurate description...or maybe I just don't like the label,"liberal"...
