Ok, I have a cooked 6.1 rom on my wing so at the start my stats was like this Storage: 45MB Program: 29MB. After Installation of The diamond theme I was left with Storage: 21MB Program: 18MB.
thats not too bad on the program memory or the storage...
which rom are u running from xda???
you might want to try ivannj justme rom, its about 63mb or 70mb free after flashing for storage...

I tried to download and install the Tom Tom Navigator on my phone, and the file opened a bunch of Malware on my computer. So that was a fail.
Anyone have any other suggestions towards this?
I also tried to download Adobe's Flash Player but it said it wasn't able to install the .cab file.

hey what music apps do you guys use? I got audio manager which is cool but I want to be able to sync this thing with mediamonkey but I dont want the audio stored in main memory and i want to use my playlists. I havent really used WM since it seems so wack.

I use s2p 90% of the time and HTCs audio manager
I've used MortPlayer, PocketMusic and Pocketplayer. Im currently using PocketPlayer because it works best on my device. But PocketMusic is good and it handles playlist really well.

I have my music stored on my memory card under Music/Artist. In each folder for each artist is a pic of the album cover. How come the album art doesnt show up? And for some reason, AVCRP doesnt seem to work with this app.

A. No. But if you have installed S2U2, make sure you have updated your S2U2 to 0.99p or later. Otherwise S2P will be stopped by S2U2.
Q. What music files can S2P play?
A. MP3, WMA & WAV.
Q. When viewing an album of WMA/WAV files, there is no duration show?!
A. Yes, it's not implemented yet.

A. You have to organize the files into folder structure like \Artist Name\Album Name\Music title.mp3, otherwise it won't be recognized by S2P.
Q. How to turn off the screen when playing music?
A. Press the Power button or the record button.

A. Edit the registry - under \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\A_C\S2P\, edit the keys OffLCD & ACOffLCD (in seconds). OffLCD is for use when using battery; while ACOffLCD is for external power. The default value of OffLCD is 25 & ACOffLCD is 0.
Q. S2P shows weird characters for the music info?!
A. Try to resave those info in ID3V2.4 UTF-8 format.
Q. How to have cover shown on S2P?
A. Either the music file already has cover pic embedded or you have to copy the cover file (either cover.jpg or folder.jpg or album*.jpg made by WMP) to the corresponding album folder.

A. Follow these steps:

- restart the device;
- turn on the Bluetooth & connect the BT Headset;
- start the Windows Media Player (sometimes it will be automatically started once the BT Headset is connected) & press the End key to minimize it;

Q. The system icons on the top bar do not update?!
A. Yes, they only show the start status. But the battery level icon is up-to-date. However, they will all be live if S2U2 v1.00 is already running in the background.
Q. How to make S2P runs faster?
A. Some tips:
- organize the mp3 files in folders
- keep the mp3 files small (<= 256kbps)
- don't use embedded album art
- keep album art small (<= 200 square pixels)
- let S2P goes through every album for creating some cached files for later better performance
- set AlwaysLoadEmbedAlbumPic to 0
- set FastAlbumPic to 1
- set FullScreenAlbum to 0

thanks yall - ive tried everything but mortplayer and none of them including wmp will play m3u lists. What I'm doing is creating playlists in mediamonkey and then syncing the playlist to my storage card- which copies over the respective songs from the list. On my mp3 player I can then select the playlist I want to listen to. On my Touch I cant do shit. PocketPlayer can read the list but won't play any songs. I tried changing the location of the playlist to the directory of the music and still no haps. You can do the same for mp3 players in windows media player.
WMP won't recognize the m3u files. Pocket Music will read the list files but won't play them either. Same for s2p and audio manager.
I can create playlists in wmp and audio manager on the Touch but its a pain in the ass and its not like I have all 50,000 audio tracks on my Touch. Is there some angle to this Im not seeing??????
Im bout to try mortplayer. Im guessing if I synced to my device rather than the storage card it would work but it severely limits my space.

Got it solved - media monkey created playlists with a file path different from pocketpc's default - I think I can fix it within the device config in mediamonkey or just use a text editor to correct the m3u files. PocketPC OS views the storage card as \StorageCard\"MusicFileDir"\***** while mm denotes the path as \"MusicFileDir"\albumartist\

HTC Audio manager lets you create playlists
In the options for PocketPlayer, is M3U listed as one of the file to be associated with PocketPlayer? I just dumped PocketPlayer because creating a playlist is too complex. Im messing with S2P right now, even though they dont have playlists.
its really simple...the album cover picture needs to named cover.jpg AND the picture must reside in the same folder as the albums .mp3 files i.e.:

this is how I have it setup on my tilt using S2P
Yea I know. But that's not what Im looking for. AudioManager and the others do a great job of creating lists after the music is already copied to my card. By using MediaMonkey or WMP on a desktop you can create playlists and by transferring the playlist to the device it will automatically copy all the tracks in the list to the device. So instead of storing all those various albums on my storage card to create lists with, a burden on the pocketpc, I can create them on the desktop and sync them.
PocketPlayer and PocketMusic are fine. They read the m3u's fine. The m3u's were being created with an incorrect file path. The reason this happenedd is because I removed my sandisk 8gb card from the touch to copy files to it because doing it via usb is slow as hell. The path MediaMonkey saw the storage card in \ (root dir) was not the same directory it ended up in on the PPC. Its still faster to take the card out , copy the playlists to the device, edit them with notepad++ and load the card back into the Touch then to copy 4gb of music to the touch via Usb cable and create playlists by hand in audio manager,pocket player etc.
Yo rename your album covers to "albumname.jpg"
For example on my ppc - im listening to t'cha t'cha on by any means necessary - the cover pic is titled "By Any Means Necessary.jpg" and is in the By Any Means Necessary folder.
Try mediamonkey for managing your music - you can tag and download covers really easy and it will store the pic in the id tag or in the folder- whatever you want. Im not sure if any of these apps will read the pic in the tags.

yes the 'cover flow' is only available in landscape mode and you need to manualy activate it with a half circle swipe using your finger...it takes a minute to get the swiping gesture right
I sat here for like a half trying to figure that out. I read thru the thread (for the newest version), but they didnt mention it. And i wasnt about to look thru 101 pages from the original thread for it. Good looking.
yeah unfortunately the author of the program neglected to tell us how to activated it....i actually thought it did not work with the previous version at all but I accidentally activated when playing around with my phone one day
