Why are black people NOT demanding answers from John McCain?

I think its bullshit that no black "leaders" or activists are taking mccain to task on black issues. The notion that Obama has placated every voter group BUT blacks while Mccain gets a pass is BULLSHIT.

All these demands that Obama talk on issues specific to blacks yet mccain doesn't have to...is BULLSHIT.

Ask Mccain his whats his opinion of the sean bell shooting...
Ask Mccain what he did during katrina...
Ask Mccain his views on reparations and affirmative action.
Ask Mccain what HE plans to do about judicial disparity and predatory lending practices as it pertains to blacks specifically.

Both candidates are running for President of the United States...that means that black issues are just as important as hispanic issues and jewish issues.

This pussified attitude that barack obama addresses every issue but black ones so we should "cut his nuts off" meanwhile lets ignore john mccain because we SHOULDN'T expect him to do anything for us anyhow is so fucked up its beyond funny.

:smh:

McCain isn't a threat

This muthafucka is against AA and abortion

Last time I checked white people were still the majority

in politics, the key is to garner and WIN voters. without the black vote, obama wouldnt have a shot in hell. it is not too much to ask, how he can improve our condition as president. also u must remember that in politics, and from politicians, if you ask for nothing, u get nothing...

nobody black cares about mccain or what he thinks. we don't want that cracka. ron paul should be the president fuck obama too.

simple, nyggas aint voting for him, so who cares.

its not simple..and it doesn't matter if we DON'T vote for him..IF he wins and becomes president then he's president of the ENTIRE country..not just white america. OUR CONCERNS MATTER NO MATTER WHO THE FUCK IS IN OFFICE!!

If john mccain was SMART he could EASILY leak black votes from obama by seriously addressing black concerns..isn't he suppose to be the maverick who bucks the system when necessary??? He's not suppose to be a regular republican...at least thats his line.

And what are whites or conservatives who feel slighted gonna as an alternative vote for obama or barr (which means obama wins anyway)..

Mccain has every opportunity to build a decent relation with the black community on these issues and put pressure on obama to respond..

Voting blacks are the minority bruh!

see how easy that was..

Ron Paul...Ralph Nader..do you see these guys going into the black community addressing specific issues???

Nader called obama on that shit yet didn't make a move to do it himself...why not??

ron paul doesn't need to come to the "black community" for me to know he is the right man for the job. he's about helping this country as a whole to get to a level where everyone is treated the same under the constitution. and if he was to become president and be exposed as being fake too, i'd be the first one calling for his death.

when was the last time we were a community anyhow? just a bunch of selfish mufuckas runnin around tryna get paid last time i checked.

I have to agree with the guy you quoted. It is simple because many blacks arent interested in McCain or the republican party in general. 95% of black voters voted Obama. They have chosen to invest all of their eggs in one basket so to speak.

Because of the fact that the democrats and Obama especially have the black vote locked away McCain wont go out of his way to try to get more black voters. It would be impractical. The democrats tend to get the majority of the black vote in any election anyway. All of that plays a factor in this.

If blacks get tired of Obama or upset by him. More likely than anything many will probably just choose not to vote at all instead of voting McCain.

I posed the same questions in the thread about the Obama "heckler" incident in Florida. We gotta demand answers from any elected leader because once they're in office their actions affect everyone in the country.

I think a lot of people think they are smarter than they really are. They think they appear more intelligent than the average black person by questioning Obama. I bet you Larry Elder and Juan Williams think they are better than the average black person...they are special. They have the respect of whitey. A lot on this board are the same way. That "house N" or crabs in the barrell mentality. By going against the grain you stand out.

Unfortunately they haven't thought long term about anything.

It just shows the exact opposite from any analytical intelligent black person.

What did black people demand from Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Al Gore?

Do we expect to get fucked over by whitey? Bow our heads and say yes massa, and mosey on away.

A lot of black people keep expecting this mythological black Santa Zeus figure to make everything all right. I think christianity got that bull shit in our head. Where Moses or Jesus can produce miracles, and we expect a mortal black man to do that also. So we bash anyone flawed, from Dr King to Jesse Jackson. Even though they are doing something, while a lot of us just sit on the sidelines and criticize. Like bitches in a hair salon, sideline reporter muthafuckas.

sooo ron paul doesn't have to address the specific needs of the black community because he'll be good for the WHOLE country (because that will affect blacks as well)..but barack obama SHOULD address the specific needs of the black community regardless of what he does for the whole country (even tho that will affect blacks as well)...

why are you bending over backwards to give this white man a pass??

Whats ron pauls record in helping the black community?

i dont see why some of yall are scared to ask obama about his plans or thoughts on black issues...as if being black is enough...damn right i am voting for obama, i feel that he is the best candidate...every fucking voting bloc wants to be coddled (lied to) and have their issues addressed.

that STILL doesn't get black issues addressed...the point is these issues are REAL and need to be dealt with.
regardless of whos in office.

I bet you they don't even know who their local state senators and congressman are.

And they effect local change a lot more.

Like black people are expecting Obama to change the police situation in New York, like with Sean Bell :hmm: Who the fuck appoints the police commissioner :hmm:

Fuckin ignorance :smh:

Your right. However these issues arent going to be brought up to the republicans. Not this election and for the reasons that I listed. Which pretty much gives you the answer that you asked in the thread title.

Im ignorant to alot of things but Im not stupid and I say that because I along with many other people know his agenda.

:hmm:"Mccain, what are you going to do to help black people?"

Mccain:"I plan on helping all american achieve their dreams,Im against Affirmative Action but I am for education..."

:hmm:Thanks,again...

i dont see why some of yall are scared to ask obama about his plans or thoughts on black issues...as if being black is enough...damn right i am voting for obama, i feel that he is the best candidate...every fucking voting bloc wants to be coddled (lied to) and have their issues addressed.
its not a case of being scared...like complex said...

What did black people demand from Bill Clinton, John Kerry, Al Gore?

Because a lot of "black" issues are local issues muthafucka :hmm:

All those fuckin check cashing places
The fuckin police
The education system

Those are local issues :hmm:

What do you think a school board is for?
Who determines the budget for the school system?

Just like Los Angeles can outlaw fast food places in certain areas, they can do the same with liquor stores, check cashing places....

I swear muthafuckas must didn't have to take government in high school.

Your right. However these issues arent going to be brought up to the republicans. Not this election and for the reasons that I listed. Which pretty much gives you the answer that you asked in the thread title.

the civil rights march and protests didn't wait for a democrat to get into office that wasn't part of the plan..they did what they had to regardless of whos president.

thats why i said that attitude you expressed is pussified...it doesn't demand answers from whoever is in charge...ONLY THE BLACK PERSON.

would these questions even be raised if hillary was the nominee?

Even if blacks did press him on those issues, we'd be labeled as angry racist blacks and blown off by McCain and the media. Haven't you learned already that it's against the law to put the pressure on white politicians?

Im ignorant to alot of things but Im not stupid and I say that because I along with many other people know his agenda.

:hmm:"Mccain, what are you going to do to help black people?"

Mccain:"I plan on helping all american achieve their dreams,Im against Affirmative Action but I am for education..."

:hmm:Thanks,again...

and when obama says that its not good enough..yet the white man makes that statement and we go away with heads bowed...

COME ON MAN..WAKE THE FUCK UP!! SERIOUSLY...DOES THAT MAKE SENSE TO YOU??

all this talk of field negros and house negros yet all the field negros are scared to demand answers from the white man directly :smh: why??

Hilarious.... When Tavis Took Mccain to task because of his not wanting to address black issues, nobody gave a shit.:smh::smh:

Your question is a smoke screen plain and simple, Obama is the democrat, Mccain the repub, its common knowledge that repubs don't give a shit about black folks or any issues that relate to us, that has been their platform for the past 30 years.

often times in majority black areas, there are plenty of black local elected govt officials. however, shit like no child left behind, cutbacks on housing authority programs, and money and effort in general are passed down from the whitehouse and congress. the ability to go spend billions on shyt is passed down from washington g.

we're not talking about republicans we're talking about the president...we're talking about american citizens who have concerns and want answers from the american presidential candidate about those concerns..

there is no smoke screen thats the same rational used to ask obama questions. If thats the case then why is mccain working so hard for the hispanics vote..they vote democrat mostly as well?

A lot of that shit, was the government stepping in.

And all of that needs to be approved by the state senators and house members.

How many people have written their senators and house members to voice their dissatisfaction?

How many people voted out their local elected officials who voted for the Iraq war? Do we even know how they voted?

All that shit is still local.
