The First 48....The show I hate to love to watch....

The majic words.

"I want a lawyer."

That means anywhere in the US, the interview must be terminated, and questioning must cease. Period.

TRUE. But most of the dudes on the show already have some type of record so they have dealt with the system before.
Every kid that has played cops and robbers knows the first few line of the Marranda(sp) Rights.

"you have the right to remain silent/anything you say can and WILL be used aginst you in a court of law"
You have the right to an attorney/ if you can't afford one, one will be appointed to you at no cost."

So ya'll believe that these "street smart" "g-code" niggaz don't know that they should ask for a lawyer before they confess to a crime?

That being said, I think that it should be a law that the cops should NOT be able to even talk to you unless there is a lawyer in the room.

this new ep with the football player killed is one of the craziest eps so far...so fukn sad...crazy that hating ass nygga devin set the whole shyt up...wow...crazy also that all are charged with first degree murder, even though only one pulled the triggger, damn

So why confess at all then? Practice for the trial?

Watching it right now. Missed the beginning again but I think niggas took out a whole fam, kids and all.

fellas,,, if you ever get jammed up and they question you at the police station,,, STFU!!!,,, nothing you say in an interrogation room will help your case,,, it will only hurt you later court,,, if you say "i need to speak to my lawyer", they have to stop questioning you by law

Maybe if a Rapper say it in one of his songs, they might understand that statement.

Damn you BGOL for getting me hooked on this shit! Didn't know nothing about this show til I read this thread. Now I TiVo it on the regular.

All I can say is what the fuck is wrong with my young black brothers, senseless killings, snitchin like bitches, actin hard then crying like straight faggots when they are being interrogated.

I saw that Memphis case where my man killed his brother's family including his young kids. Damn, a nigga had to shed a tear, couldn't believe a brotha could do that to his own kin!

BTW the two Memphis detectives, Mason and Tony Armstrong are my favorites they could teach a seminar in the art of getting a confession.

Now i dont usually comment on anything on this board cause its just entertainment to me. the truth is that the first 48 is disturbing as hell. The ratio of young black males gassed up on superthugissm that throw their life away is astonnishing. But we all know our problems in the hood, no need to go into that. The "snitching" thing. This point is sad to me, most black males use this bullshit to cover their fuckups. If u commited a crime with full knowlege of it then get caught and give up everyone THATS SNITCHING........ If i see something or witness a crime no matter what it is and get asked THATS NOT SNITCHING.....You should have planed it out better. Most men dont think about there situations enough and expect fear to keep people quiet. That sounds like oppression to me, thats why we are so used to living in crime, it dosent have to be that way. But thats my 2 cents and i will teach my sons the same.

i watched the one in memphis where this one guy who was back home from doing a 14 yr bid killed 6 people and severly injured 2 kids. One of the 6 guys he killed was his brother. That shit was sad

yeah that one was fucked up. How he was actin like he aint have shit to do with it. This is one of my favorite shows

Anybody catch the new episode last week? That shit was deep. Caution, spoilers below...

Dude said the pastor tried to rape him, I don't know if he was lying or not, but I tend to believe him mostly for the fact that he stabbed the nigga 100 times. 100 times, that's emotional trauma, not no robbery killing. Plus when you add up everything in the case, it just made sense that he was telling the truth. But fuck, nigga could just be a cold blooded killer that just took advantage of some old man.

Then that other case in Minnesota, I felt sorry for the killer. It seemed like he was just trying to do him, but leave it up to some drunk cracker (R.I.P, can't disrespect the dead), to not know when to just leave a nigga alone. :smh: You could tell dude was fucked up over it. It's crazy how one bad decision in a split second can fuck up a bunch of lives. :smh: It's also crazy to me how one of them crackers was so drunk he didn't even know his homeboy got shot. I have never in my life been so intoxicated where a murder could go down, a gun could pop off twice right by me and I'ma be oblivious to it. :smh:

Both sad cases:smh::smh:

sometimes i  when i watch the first 48. there are a lot of dudes that do not know their rights. it's sad. the majority of the time they have nothing on these cats..... and they end up writing confessions:smh:.

i saw one episode with the female detective (memphis i think). her and her partner had this dude in the precinct for questioning on a shooting/homicide. keep in mind that son was only a witness to the crime, he knew who did it. anyway they had the suspect in custody and they had the witness in the precinct for mad hours(son aint know his rights). they hit him with everything from conspiracy to murder one untill he finally confessed to seeing the shooter.

this is where it gets crazy. Shorty took the witness into the room with the suspect and was like "this him?" son said yeah. i was like  :smh: WTF?????????? then the bitch had the nerve to tell the witness. now that your conscience is clean you can start a new life away from the drama... or something to that effect. real talk she just signed the niggaz death warrant!!!! i had to rewind that shit like three times to make sure i wasn't buggin.

nah i remember seeing another episode where this nigga snitched on his boy..the detective was like we already know you did it,your own boy snitched on you..he was like i know my boy didnt snitch on me..the detective was like oh word..tell me why he went and got his boy out the other room and brought him in there..he was like "now didnt you say this motherfucker killed him" he was boy was like yea he did it..i was like:eek:x1000000000000

does anyone find the memphis detectives HILARIOUS

expecially the black lady with the weave and they always have to use subtitles when she talks

one episode they featured her and she was talking about how she always has to be jazzy and they showed her desk and she had makeup and curling irons and shit on it

then there is the skinny detective from memphis who uses crazy catch phrases and says "you feel me" every 2.5 seconds

:lol::lol::lol:

they are my favorite team aside from the miami team...and theres the black lady with the beard and the black dude that wears all that gold jewlery

Let me introduce you to Mr. Rae Carruth!:puke:

image257087x.jpg

this nigga is in a prison close by me..and 2 of my cousins had got sent there on some scared straight type program shit..anyway they was like 1 of the inmates that was talkin shit to them was like "if you come in here we gonna get that butt..just ask Rae Carruth we get him everyday just because what he did was so stupid":lol:

The deepest part about that one case where they thought it was a gang "blackout" was when dude told his moms what happened, and she was saying "I love you baby". That shit was real.

Yeah that was real, BUT it shows that Black parents arent holding thier kids accountable. He just finished a murder bid, comes home for 6mo then to kill half his fam, and hear his mom say "its okay, I love you baby":confused::confused::smh::smh::smh:WTF my mom would disown my ass

The challenge with this no snitching shit it that crooked lawyers and cops give the witnesses names and address out to the criminals. So until they fix that, I understand these people fears, when your living on the same block as a savage being a witness is like being a target

I know,I was tearing up. But they had a marathon and my ass sat there and watched it all. The ones that really bother me are when the kids get murdered:smh::smh:
