We don't know the facts. Had Shawn Bell or Amadou Diallo been able to defend their lives against the police their stories might read the same way this one does.

Bottom line "good" cops are just as responsible for the hatred that exists of all cops for their silence and or open support of murderous dirty cops. As long as that continues how can a distinction be made between the two?

Thank You. The pigs on the board are just pushing gov't propaganda period. The shitty conditions in our communities were allowed to be that way. Yes we have to accept a lot of the responsibility, but the fact remains the powers that be never bothered to allocate the proper resources to fight crime in our community. Do you think that during the war on drugs not one single black person was at the police stations begging to end the violence and drug peddling especially in the early days of crack?:smh: The truth is the police sat back and let the body counts rise. They knew who the kingpins and thugs and killers were, but they only took them down when it was in their political (and financial) interests to do so. Cops are just tools.:hmm:

This is what I love about this board. People come out of the closet to talk shit safely from thier moms basement. I love the really tough ones talkin of what they would do to a cop. I tell you what, stop talkin shit and go do it. Pick up the phone, dial 911 and go do what you said you wanted to do.

I used to be a Officer and it's a tough job. Seeing my own run things in the ground on a daily basis. Then when they get caught, it's everyone elses fault. Always tough on the street in front of thier boys. But when it was you and I back at the cell with your cuffs off ............... totally different story. Then when I see you at the mall when I'm off duty, now you're calling me sir.

So I consider most of you to be men of your word. So stop talkin shit. Tell your boys to hold the camera. Then go out and beat a cops ass or worse. Then post the vid.

   Real men don't talk about it

C/S :lol::lol::lol:

If I was a betting man three forths of the people putting down the police have never encounterd the police. they're referencing their anger from mass media, the horrific rap music that was started in the early 90's ie... "Fuck the Police" N.W.A. or some worthless nigga's that just can't do right. Trust and believe Ice Cube, Ice "T" and numerous other so called hard core rappers want the police around to protect their shit from Nigga's. Chris Rock said "I'm not afraid of the media(or black people) I'm afraid Of Nigga's" Nigga's are white, black, yellow and brown not one certain color. If your not the one fucking up, causing made confusion 9 times out of 10 you won't deal with the police.

It saddens me to have to inform our peoples family members that their son or daughter have been killed; it also saddens me to have to hear a person trying to help out this vicious society maintain law and order die in the line of duty.

It is true there are racist police officer that would do whatever it takes to lock up a black person but for the most part those days are gone; and yes I also know police office that risk their lives like myself everyday for bullshit pay to help the elderly person who can not just get up and move deal with the dope dealer in their building or on their street. The black man/woman who work hard everyday and want to keep their shit from being stolen. The person who just want to have the feeling of being safe. Now with that being said if your the one fucking up our neighborhoods because you don't have respect for yourself or others yes I am coming after your sorry azz...

If u mean takin "us" back to a time when people can see bullshit and flush accordingly then sure. ie: all gang members( including the one sponsered by the state police, alphabet soup orgs.) should be should be dumped in an active volcano along wit there families to keep their defective DNA from corrupting the gene pool. And for the record i dont claim no race or tribe no more, cant align myself wit the weak unless i need a human shield

regardless what legal or illegal shit somebody gets into all the most foolish bitch made niggas come to the conclusion that cops are here to protected anybody, unless u helped pay for a few local ellected officials to get where they at know all u should expect from a cop is to write u a ticket or throw u in a cell if ur lucky

 let em know mike

If he's a good cop not going to justify the shooting because of injustices. Shit like this makes it harder for us, and they'll use cases like this when they harrass and kill us. This guy is an ass for shooting the cop, now he's behind bars for life, and it does nobody any good. One less black male in the community, and one more in jail.....how does this shit help anybody.

Part of the reason we are treated the way we are, is due to the way we treat ourselves. We show no regards for our community, our neighbors, and got this "trying to get over" attitude. Now we have one dead cop, how many dead black males will that tranlate into, either due to police brutality, or due to the fact police in the area do not respond to altercation in the community resulting in a death?

Cops are fucking human, they make mistakes. That nigga killed a man in cold blood. He deserves whats coming to him

Sean Bell tried to run over the cops after they repeatedly told him to stop and exit the vehicle. The cops were black, so you niggas cant pull the race card on that shit.

Look at all the facts, when people get scared and exciting they do crazy shit.

Rodney King was driving drunk and could have killed someones family member, He needed his ass beat...... fuck that dumb ass nigga and anyone else who drives drunk or do dumbshit around the cops.

When they tell you to put your hands up slowly just do that shit. If you dont and decide to make sudden movements dont cry when they put 50 bullets in your ass.........

:hmm: Please dude Rodney King was just the straw that broke the camel's back. The LA riots jumped off because blacks were fed up with Chief Daryl Gates all out war on black males (that faggot declared in '79 that all black males between the ages of 17-40 were gang members). How would you have liked to live under those conditions? I don't want to even get into what happened to Sean Bell that was just a mess all round. Both NY's and LA's police forces are among the most corrupt in the country so there is no defending them.

I don't see why you all are debating with ******** for! These the same fuckers who are screaming the man holding them down. The man ain't letting me live. The man ain't this or the man ain't dat. If it wasn't for police the hood would be more reckless. I hate ******** but I love my black people! Oh by the way this same shit applies to hispanics and poor white trash! Fucking F.B.I and DEA ain't worrying about crack no more. The only concern themselves with Meth. The white youths choice of drugs. I don't hear shit about crackhouses no more. ONly fucking meth labs. Fuck all this shit. My rant is over.

Can one of you cops answer this question????

naw man every cop aint a bad cop....this dude was just doing his job his gun was still in its holster.....

If more people [cops] would give us the same benefit of the doubt, then we wouldn't have to worry about one black person setting the rest of us back 400 years.

Can one of you cops answer this question????

Unless you are an Officer, you will never know the fighting that goes on behind kthe scenes. Good Officers and Bad go at it all of the time. I'm not talking about arguments, I'm talkin straight up fights. Problem is that most of the racial acts we may witness are subtle. Things tht you and I know are subtle, but can also be explained as an oversight or an mistake in judgement. So you make a complaint, everyone else knows about it. now you have to go to work the next day. You get a call for a altercation in the projects. YOu are the first to respond and all hell breaks loose. You call for backup. Oddly enough, your backup doesnt respond. Noone else in the entire is available to help.

Thats the type of things that go on behind the scenes that can cost you your life. So you try to find ways inwardly to change thinge. So for all of you that scream how bad Officers are, what have you done to help. You are pissed that you got stopped in your car. So what, we all have. Is your shit right? If not, dont complain. You claimed that you were treated unfairly. I wonder what was your attitude like when you were stopped? How did you speak to the Officer?

And for all of you that have friends, cousins and family that were treated wrong. And now you hate Officers, let me ask you this. How many of you made and followed through with complaints? If you did nothing, then fall the fuck back. You had your chance to change and correct things but did'nt. And most people dont make complaints because in the end, they know how wrong they were.

Sorry pimpin, but you getz no tears of sympathy for a cop getting popped. The best I can do is just be numb. After Sean Bell, fuck a cop...

" Now hear this, Not all cops are bad" I wonder what this country would be like without the good, honest, hard working cops? So the next time you need help, call someone who is not willing to put his life on the line for your dumb ass!!! As a African-American Officer for twenty years, I have never mistreated anyone and have been attacked by several races, but don't hate the races that have mistreated me. I understand that; a few dumb asses don't define the sum of the whole!!!

So I guess the next question is: how do the good cops police the bad cops because we are the ones feeling it out here...........

What do you need us to do to make the situation fixable?

The same way you described the feeling of almost hopelessness as a black cop, it is the same way the general black community feels.......... alienated.

I really feel it is up to black WITHIN the force to use legal means to gain some policy changes.

Its the same method Thurgood Marshall used to change the legal system from within.

Until then we exist in a state of apartheid and perpetual terror which is fucked up.

Its only when there is a situation that makes nation news that America's dirty laundry hangs out in public ala Katrina.

Until then any black man including black cops are fair game............

I wish cops would take that view when they are developing policy.

In fact this country has made a habit of preying on those they suspect are the most vulnerable without regard to race.

I think for shit to change we may need to really up our recruitment numbers and try to change things from the inside.

Other than that the other way leads to situations like this..............

This nigga did it yall

just to let you know what he did....he killed a cop a white cop at that read below.

The 33-year-old father was fatally shot four times in the head during routine traffic stop early Sunday morning.

Sources say Miktarian was shot three times in the left side of his head in rapid succession at close range. A fourth shot entered just above the officer's left eye as he was lying on the ground.

Bedford Heights Police later found and arrested their suspect, 23-year-old Ashford Thompson, hiding at his sister's home.

Thompson pleaded not guilty in court Monday and was handed a $5M dollar bond. A lawyer for Thompson hints that his client may claim self defense despite the fact that Officer Miktarian's gun remained in his holster and his K-9 wasn't released from his cruiser.

Officer Miktarian's mother wouldn't directly address the self-defense claim - only said that her baby is gone, and his (Miktarian) baby doesn't have a father.

Officer Joshua Miktarian leaves behind a wife and a 3-month-old daughter named Thea. Officer Miktarian was not only a Twinsburg Police Officer, but also volunteered at the Uniontown Police Department, owned a Gionino's Pizza franchise and played guitar in the Akron based rock band "Barium

An Ex-Cop's Agenda

End the Drug War... Abolish the Death Penalty... Vanquish Domestic Violence... Make Schools and Neighborhoods Safer... Drive Bigotry and Brutality Out of the Criminal Justice System... Honor the Constitution... Build Respect for Cops...

"Justice is like a train that's nearly always late."
—Yevgeny Yevtushenko

Happening upon this quote by the great Russian poet and filmmaker, I'm reminded of the vast numbers of long-dead Americans denied simple justice in their lifetimes.

The train arrived too late, for example, for millions of African Americans who for centuries were legally victimized by slavery, segregation, and economic and physical cruelty.

Resistance to basic legal reforms guarantees that many millions of Americans will go to their graves as victims of sanctioned injustice. The train is not even in sight for the half million non-violent drug offenders (disproportionately poor and of color) languishing in our prisons, the result of a fatally flawed belief that prohibition works, or can somehow be made to work. Research and the experience of many other nations demonstrate how the regulated legalization of all drugs would make our neighborhoods, and our citizens, safer and healthier.

The U.S., with less than five percent of the world's population, is home to 25 percent of its prisoners, a whopping 2.3 million people. Some offenders belong in prison, many do not. We pay dearly for a vindictive system that often serves to make matters worse, much worse.

In only 12 states is the barbaric, fruitless practice of human execution outlawed. The "Innocence Projects" around the country have freed over 200 wrongly convicted persons, many of them after having served 10 or 20 or more years in prison, some on death row. No one knows how many innocent people have been put to death in this country. The memory of even one should sear the conscience of the American people, and force our lawmakers to end the death penalty.

Violence in the home denies basic security and emotional wellbeing for millions of people, most of them women, many of them children. Being brutalized, terrorized, forced to live in fear of a "loved one" is an abject form of injustice.

Guns in the hands of people who should never touch a firearm ensures unsafe homes, schools and campuses across the land, and the continuing threat of the slaughter of America's children.

Many organizations are dedicated to eradicating these ills. Here are just a few I work with and/or support:

American Civil Liberties Union, www.aclu.org
Amnesty International, www.amnestyusa.org
Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, www.handguncontrol.org
Death Penalty Focus, www.deathpenalty.org
Drug Policy Alliance, www.drugpolicy.org
Family Violence Prevention Fund, www.endabuse.org
Human Rights Campaign, www.hrc.org
Innocence Project, www.innocenceproject.org
Law Enforcement Against Prohibition, www.leap.cc
NORML, www.norml.org

By the way when good cops really "break rank" they must go into hiding...fuckin witness protection...because other cops will kill them.

So I guess the next question is: how do the good cops police the bad cops because we are the ones feeling it out here...........

:smh:

I feel the we (African Americans) should learn a little restraint. Our fathers used to get by knowing within that they were right. When a Officer stops you, he's in a position of authority, Thats a fact whether anyone wants to accept it or not. Just restrain yourself a little. Saying "yes sir" or "no sir" goes a long way. Stop screaming, cursing and being so dramatic. Deal with the issue at hand then move on. Now when I say deal with it, that doesnt mean that you have to accept it. If you feel you were wronged, take a long hard look at what actually happened. Try to be as honest as possible with yourself. After that, if you still feel you were wronged, make a complaint. Go to the district and ask to speak with a supervisor. Let them know that you want to make a complaint on police. State the incident and the parties involved. Speak calmly, clearly and without emotions. At the end of the conversation and to ensure that an actually report will be passed foward, ask the supervisor for his name, badge number and control number of the report.
Then ask to have a meeting with the captain, Community relations Officer or someone else of authority. In that meeting state your concerns. Wait a week then contact the Internal Affairs unit. Give them the control number and ask if a report had been submitted and what actions are being taken. Whomever you speak with, make sure you get names, dates, times and badge numbers.

I think most complaints get trashed by the first person you speak with. You can talk to them all day and nothing gets done. You may even see them fill out a report, but that also gets trashed. Thats why you want to wait untill a control number is issued. And let them know that you will need a control number before you leave. If they deny you this, ask for thier supervisor or ask for the Internal Affairs number. Also, don't go alone. Tak a credible person with you. Someone in good standing within your community, not "mookie" and "Big Tone" from around the corner.

I hope this helps.

You just don't fuckin get it do you? always with your bullshit rants. If you knew any better police don't make policy period in order to effect real change in police department policy is to become a law MAKER a politician, a judge, a district attorney.

Police are at the bottom on the totum pole when it comes to law enforcement and policy in this country. A police officers job is to strictly enforce the laws that were brought by state law makers and passed into law for that state. Nothing more nothing less.

So I guess you would have been one of the mofos that beat down MLK.

The law is the law to you, no matter if it is unjust.

I'm telling you black cop can exert pressure from within that can cause policy changes and you are telling me they can't?

What is your excuse really?

If you black cops try nothing from within then you support the retaliation for without action there is no reaction.

So basically you are saying don't push back.......... ever heard of MLK? He did that shit and he is still dead.

Do you not understand your role in upholding this racist state and carrying out their agenda? Then you have the gall to imply that nothing can be done from within?

The advice is for black men to say "yes Sir, no Sir" and we will be on our way......really?

You have no idea what part cops play to uphold racism. Until you demonstrate that knowledge, miss me with the pity party.

Have a good day.

thanks for that contribution Bro............ may come in handy for someone.....

Bout time these hoe ass cops get it too... they cant keep killing black men without repercussion (Sean Bell anyone) sad for doods fam, but the chickens is coming home to roost...

That's fucked up.... That fool wasn't making any kinda Sean Bell statement with that murder. That man was someone's familly.

And if you read the post he said there were never any problems w/police in that town.... So it wasn't like they were on some beat a nigga down for the hell of it.

Grow up man.......

Here in Jersey I am happy for the cops. All those fake ass bitch acting faggot gangsters here trying to copy what they hear in rap or see in the movies. Three of them threatened me and didn't know that their loud asses woke up two of my neighbors who happen to be police officers. Needless to say they are all locked up now, cause they ran their mouths about how they rule things with the shit they sell and what they did to people. Weeks after they threatened me, they all got caught with drugs, two of them with weapons, and one has been used in a murder. Oh, and two of punks were selling drugs out of the houses where they lived with their mothers - the state owns those houses now.

Fuck the police? I don't think so. Fuck all the niggas who think they are the law! Sure there are bad cops. But EVERY gangsta type drug dealing nigga is bad.

So I guess you would have been one of the mofos that beat down MLK.

Have a good day.

Again with your idiotic rants, you don't know shit or what its like to walk in my shoes clown so save that bull shit.

In order for blacks cops to effect change in a police department they first have to get in decision making administrative positions in the department to do so. Ie: sgt, LT, captain. Major, commissionor and so on. An entry level police officer can't do shit but follow the directives of his superiors and even if your black ass becomes top dog in the police department you are still serving a the pleasure of the mayor or governor which in turn becomes a political position and at that point those same cops that work for you they are expenable because of political pandering

So again you don't know shit you are not a cop and canlt possibly speak on what police should do.

Fuck out of here

Haha, this is the anti-argument for your original position:lol:

Actually this was the response to an intelligent question. My first response was formed for all that were beating thier chest about what they would do to an Officer.

You, personally are part of the problem. You are weak minded and try to twist things to suit your needs. I see people like you every day. You always have someone else to blame.

So I have a question for you. Did your mom hug you enough when you were a child. Or did your uncle bathe you until you turned 14. I bet your situation is close to one if not both. So get off your moms computer and visit the rest of us in the real world.

If you come on here bitchin about whats going on with the police, then sit back and do nothing about it. Yes, in part it is your fault. Brothas always talkin about what they would do. Why wait until something happens, take actions now. If you see Officers doing wrong, report it. It doesnt have to happen to you or yours for you to get involved.

Bruh, I give a damn about what "you say" you make. I'm sure everyone on the board makes 12 figures. I myself have a unique perspective on this situation. I hustled when I was younger. Became an Officer to try to bring about some change in Philly. Got arrested because I did my job a little too well. Did 8 hours hard time. Went to court behind the arrest. Found "Not Guilty" by a jury. Quit the force because a few Officers lied under oath so that tey could get favors from the DA.

So I've beenfull circle in the system. But I still know that the system can work if more people get involved. Stand up for those that are right. And stand against those that do wrong. Our people spend too much time standing up for brothas that do wrong.
