i dont download torrents all the time. vast majority of my porn stuff comes from a source that i cant say. takes 10 minutes to d/l a flick, no seeding required.

im not paying. been against donations from the beginning. doesnt take a genius to know that he will get more money than needed, which he will more than likely spend on personal things than on ways to upgrade the site. i tried to compromise, sayin if i donated i wanted to see the books or some kind of budget to how the money was being allocated. that fell thru so those that wanna spend money on what arrives on here thru 3rd party, go ahead. like others said, the shit is free, most of it is what we post ourselves.
I just dont see the value of it. The stuff posted here isnt hosted here and frankly I cant understand the mentality that pretends it is. I dont pay for rapidshare which actually hosts content so why pay here. Then again I know how to find just about any software/media I want so I'm good. Lets be real pay for bgol if you must have the atmosphere but not for the downloads that can be found freely with 30seconds and a search engine.

I don't mind donating but I am concerned about the future of the site. It makes it much less likely that new people will be attracted to the forum. If I tell a friend to check it out I know he won't because it costs money.
So the only hope must be in retaining the old users and big posters.

I am one who knows of places to find what I need. I use torrents primarily for porn and movies. That being said, I have gotten albums from here that aren't available online anywhere else. Some costing hundreds of dollars each if you can find them, so $10 is nothing. The kats who are looking for Lil Wayne can get that bullshit anywhere but there are kats who are posting out of print albums not posted anywhere else, and at high quality.
Still even those who are downloading easy to find stuff still may not want to look all over for it when they can get it here. It's simply convenient. To each his/her own but I think people are trippin' off all of the crying when you can simply bounce and not look back.
but bgol isn't my one stop shop though, i barely even d/l from here b/c i mainly upload & contribute. plus there are alot more forums that are alot more organized for my downloading pleasure and have even more to offer than here.
