^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

man, I dunno why this just hit me but looking at some of those Elektra covers made me think alot about Jim Lee's Zealot from the Wildcats? same artists? did Marvel bite off Jim Lee? did Lee rip of Marvel?

either way, thanks for the dropz fam!

Elektra is a lot older (1981) then the creation of Zealot. But I know what you mean, their ARE similarities.
But then again, you can hardly blame Jim for being inspired by such a cool creation.
(thank Frank Millar for that)

i HATE it when the switch to a weaker artists for big issues. hope its not permanent. i just latched onto this series and its a great read.

^^ co-sign.

I wish they'd keep creative teams together for longer than just a coupla issues. As far as I'm concerned I want (if the artist is good) for them to stay on a book at LEAST 20 issues. I'm tired of just getting hooked on a book, then all of a sudden an inexplicable artist change, that is normally NOT for the better.

I know this is a strange request for an old comic but hell let's try:

Does anyone have Grant Morrison's Kill Your Boyfriend? It was a witty story that I just remembered and I can seem to find a place to order it.

If someone has it or has an idea where to find it that would be appreciated.

Transformers Spotlight: Wheelie

A second Transformers Spotlight this month finally showcases one of the most underrated of all TRANSFORMERS, the Autobot Wheelie! Cover artist Klaus Scherwinski teams up with TRANSFORMERS über-scribe Simon Furman to introduce Wheelie to the IDW generation of readers. Trapped, alone on a hostile, faraway planet, the diminutive Autobot must dig deeper than ever before just to survive, running a gauntlet of pain and self-sacrifice that leads, ultimately, to a choice that will test not just his allegiance, but his very soul!

Transformers Spotlight: Cyclonus

The REVELATIONS CYCLE starts here! Continuing the titanic story from the epic events of Transformers: Devastation, a quartet of senses-shattering Spotlight issues unfold, laying bare two years worth of secrets behind the Decepticon invasion of Earth! With a showcase on the legendary CYCLONUS, the Final Phase begins! Continued in the interconnected future Spotlights featuring SIDESWIPE, HARDHEAD, and DOUBLEDEALER, four climaxes to the Transformers saga instead of one!

Kill All Parents (One Shot)

KILL ALL PARENTS is the story of an authoritarian government's secret program to 'save' mankind by eliminating villains: by insuring that every child born with a super power becomes a super hero. Based on the life's work of a brilliant but demented scientist and futurist, the method is effective but fantastically cruel, unnatural, and ultimately deeply flawed. We follow the last of the strong heroes, the remaining brave, who fight for not only their future and the lives of their families, but that of all mankind.

What's up with these Darkness/Withcblade comics?
I have never read one issue.
I know they have done crossovers with almost ever popular comic character ever created!

Are they any good?

yeah, they are. And unlike other crossover/team up comics including either character, these are all part of the continuity/canon and help move along the story/development of both characters. I don't if you read much of Witchblade/The Darkness but they are both profoundly connected to eachother (as most the crossovers reveal) and these issues do alot towards setting up volume three of the Darkness AND the direction that Witchblade is now going.

So read and enjoy!

p.s. sorry if any of that was stuff you already know!

So who's going to the midnight show of The Dark Knight on IMAX? From what I've heard, advance tickets are going on sale today.
Bad news for fellow Chicago pplz. Anyone planning to see the midnight IMAX show at the Navy Pier is out of luck. SOLD OUT.
Tha muthafuckers sold that shit last week. And before you even consider the Friday evening shows, they're sold out also.

Damn that was the plan I never thought that shit would be sold out that fast but hey thats how they do... that fricking Imax needs A FEW MORE SCREENS IN THAT BITCH THEY KILL ME WITH THAT.

I never read any of them, I have no idea what they are about.
I just never liked the look of Witchblade.
Seemed like a rip off of that dude, Warblade, from WILDcats.

X-Men Question...

At some point i guess the purifiers or whatever they are called came to the mansion and killed a bunch of xmen or students or something...

Anyone know when any of this took place...??
ie. WHAT BOOKS??

even better if you have them...if you can post em up....

thanks..

If anyone on here plays "City of Heroes vs. City of Villians" on the PC I play on the Triumph server as 'Onyx Panther'. Anyone else here plays that game? By the way I can't wait for Champion Online to drop for PC:yes:.
