cosign. If you were on the net in the 90's then you knew there were only a few "black" sites out there. It was almost to the point where you could bookmark them all....

I was looking for a black xxx adult message board and my cousin told me about this site, but I wasn't expecting all the news and wide range of topics that are discussed on this board. The hourly news and different topic discussion is why I log on to bgol everyday, not the porn and booty pics, even though they are nice to see from time to time, it's something that I can see on other sites and boards, but I can't get the hourly news and topic discussion on other boards like I do here and that's why I spend more time on this site than I do anywhere else on the web.

I was fiening to see some images of women of color because the college I attended had a shortage of sista's.
So I entered the words "Black Girl" in a Lycos or AltaVista search engine, that alone should tell you how long it's been.
Anyway, the first result that caught my eye was Onprobation.
It was from there where I got a link to BGOL.
Started out lurking, enjoying the comments, opinions and feedback. And now after many years of doing so I'm now a member putting my 2 cents in.
This is the best forum that I know of for hot off the press info with our people in mind.
BGOL is like my morning newspaper,where I have to see what's up on a daily basis.
I've tried to find others that are similar in quality.
But as of yet I've found none that compares.

I found this site back in when I was a fresh. in college in '00. A 'friend of mines' used to hack porn sites and post the user/pass on different password/leech forums ('Somebeing' and/or 'Excalibur' rings a bell for some reason). Anyway, someone posted a link to this site and voila! Took me ages to figure out that there was a message board; shit was not user friendly.
