I may have misinterpreted your post but you came across as one of those "we can't never win" type of jokers. Yes we have a large number of youth misguided, but not the entire generation. For the lost ones, we must make sure it never happens again, not just sit around and preach doom and gloom.
The president of the US is much more than just the commander in chief. The president has veto power over Congress, can nominate US Supreme Court Justices, and can shape the national if not the global narrative with his policies. Yes there are checks and balances in US gov't, but it works both ways.
Also, if you seriously can not see the strides blacks in America have made, then I do not know what to tell you. Less than 50 years ago we our right to vote was denied. We did not have equal access or opportunities to achieve lasting success in America. In the past 50 years we have become CEOs, Entrepreneurial Magnates, Judges, Congressmen, Senators, Presidential nominees. Don't get me wrong, there is still a lot of work to be done, but I am not going to let you just sit here and shit on our elder's legacies.
