The real question is this, when do the man knows his woman is a bitch?
To me, ladies turn to bitches when they don't get their way with me. I'm very frank, and blunt when it comes to how I feel about some issues. I find out that the lady I so called loved, is taking my kindness for weakness. Thus, I change my outlook on the woman. Yet, I'll stay around because of the investment of time I've put in. In some cases, a relationship is like a job. I like to give 2 week notices....
funny thing you made this post cuz i just said this to a couple of ppl this past week...i told them that im starting to believe that guys love bitches
(of course not all)
but anyway
no i never read this book but it did catch my eye when i went past the lil store in the airport in Vegas...i was like wtf..REDIC
what type of advice did it give?
Why Men Love Bitches: From Doormat to Dreamgirl--A Woman's Guide to Holding Her Own in a Relationship.

Has anyone else read this book?
I think it gives great, common sense advice. Let's discuss...
I've never read the book so I can't speak on it or it's content, but in general I will say that I don't have time for bitches. Anything other than womanly behavior is not something I want any part of. At this stage in life I only want to deal with goal oriented, mature, and positive people. In this particular case we're talking about women so I'll say that when it comes to filling the (empty) spot next to CT's Finest I need a WOMAN... Girls, "bitches", hood rats, etc. need not apply...
This is why you should read the book. That is not the kind of "bitch" she is referring to. Her definition is

Ok, no.
"Bitch" in this book is not that kind of "bitch" you are describing.
It's about having self respect and not putting up with bad behavior. It's about doing what you say/saying what you mean. It's not about being spoiled or pouting when you don't get your way. So no. Not the "bitch" you are referring to at all...
It lists "Attraction Principles". These are guidelines that she thinks women need to know so that men respect women and actually put effort into relationships.
For example.:
Attraction Principle #88:
When you alter your routine, your not being there at times will make him come around. Men don't respond to words. What they respond to is no contact.
Then there is a chapter about this principle with examples and such.

The bolded is the DUMBEST shit I ever read.
Men don't respond to words. What they respond to is no contact?![]()
The fuck does that even mean?
See, it's this brand of misguided pop-culture pseudo-psycho babble garbage that some women fall for, hook-line-and-sinker, then end up fucking up their relationships even more.
This tactic would work like a charm in high-school with boys and girls though.
No. Communication is the key here. The exchange of words between two individuals doesn't always imply communication.
c/s
Also, that acronym B.I.T.C.H used in this context is embarrassingly patronizing, IMO.
I've read it and it's for White women (it doesn't work for black women). We are already seen as Bitches so....
STOP! Maybe you look upon yourself that way but I don't. I don't look at women as bitches (or ho's) and especially black women, I never did and I never will. Sorry to disappoint you but all men are not the same. None of the crew I hung with did it. I never heard the term used by anyone within that group. I don't care what a woman's status is from a Condoleezza Rice to the alley crackhead I never and have never looked upon a woman as a bitch.
It's a derogatory term that places women into a status of less than equal. It's a term that I feel needs to be squashed along with the N-word. This word gained fame through rap music and you women never addressed it. Instead you accepted it and that in itself puzzles me still today.
What ever happened to the pride we once had where we all looked upon ourselves as brothers and sistas? That was cool!![]()
i'm glad you don't look at women as bitches
and SOME women didn't address it...my crew and I address it ALL THE TIME and correct people when they refer to us as such. i don't use the n-word or bitch in reference to someone as a term of endearment and i expect the same.
i don't get as pissed as i used to when ppl said it cuz i know that for some its HEAVILY ingrained in their everyday speech but i do appreciate when they correct/catch themselves when talkin to me.
if I JUJU call a chick a bitch, which RARELY happens, that means i CAN'T STAND HER and want to BUST HER UPSIDE HER HEAD!(but i'm too grown for that...for the most part

I couldn't agree more Sean.....
This woman is teaching silly games, and silly games only confuse relationships !!

I don't know why people are taking this book seriously, it was written by a CAC, who is a comedian, for CAC women who date CAC men. If you think these type of games help attract a man, THINK about the caliber of men that would fall for this shit. Seriously. Lame people find answers in books when they really should be looking internally at themselves. This goes for men too.
In my opinon a WOMAN in control of herself would never call herself a babe. Is the author white?

If you have not read the book, how can you call the principles games or say the book is stupid? Why are you even in this thread?
You really need to educate yourself before you post because the men that I've talked to who have actually READ the book actually agree with a lot of it.
The book is about women having their own lives, not giving up everything for men, and not making emotional/illogical decisions when it comes to relationships. Those are "CAC" rules and "games", though, right?
Yes, she is white.
Probably because I found a list of the principles and 90% of them were common fucking sense that could be summed up thusly, "Men like women who are put together and have a good head on their shoulders, with an edge." The rest of them were pure bullshit. If it took you buying a book to apply these principles in your life, then maybe you should look internally because there lies the problem.
