They're programming is not the same as it was a year ago. I'm not trying to convince anyone to watch BET but i'll say that they're atleast making progress in programming.I rarely watch BET but I still turn it on every once in awhile. I don't feel the programming is intended for my age group. I think its more for the 13-18 year olds out there. I don't feel programming regardless of how bad it is can destory blacks. Probably the ones easily influenced by entertainment but I don't fit that mold. I feel you though. Atleast you're standing up for what you believe. Cats will bitch about BET all day and fuck around and watch it all day which makes it senseless bitching.

i feel yall 2 a certain extent but damn. im a grown ass man. im past the point of bein influenced. so if i hear about an artist i like bein on 106 imma watch it. if i hear about 1 of my fav rappers bein on "crap city" imma watch it ONLY 4 that artist. if an access granted is comin on of a vid i wanna c, imma watch it. now no, i dont watch BET all the damn time but i know how 2 pick and choose. and i STILL say i find it very funny that a board thats SO anti-BET has so many flavor of love threads. just an example: (2 pages)http://www.bgol.us/board/showthread.php?t=267925&highlight=flavor

I'm in the same boat. I watch BET sparingly to where I tune into watch shit i'm expecting. Like to see Kanye on Rap City or see Hov on 106. I don't feel there's a need to watch BET too much because the programming is recycled. They show the same shows and videos every day. And the board does be on some other shit. Will co-sign ignorance but refuses to watch BET for its programming. Its like a fat person going to Mcdonalds ordering 10 value meals with a diet coke.
