LJ, hows that new update on skyfire?

I just got the update email today...I just installed it and major improvement...I have to be honest though I had not been using it too much because it loads slow and alot of the sites I usually go to require passwords and the previous version was not secure. The flash video playback is alot better in the new version and I'm loving the new zoom action(which really enhances the usability) and password masking.

My main con with the app is this....you are accessing the web through their servers in what resembles a vmware/VNC session type experience whereas the safari browser on the iphone or even the newer version of pocket IE , you are surfing the net natively on your device.... The only plus in this app IMO is the flash video play back which no mobile browser currently offers

Oh ok. I still want to test it out. I still havent been sent a beta yet.

Preciate the update LJ, I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

While I'm here anybody know where I can find skins for 1-Calc and does anybody know where I can find the original calc for WM6 (HTC-Titan - I'm running a cooked rom of 6.1 that came with 1-Calc).

Thanks in advance.

On a slight departure from the normal sharing of info and apps.....
and yeah I know I been posting a lot.... but shit.. I've already seen most of the
porn on here... and snatched the music I like and shared some too..
so when I found this on here I was like cool... cause most of the time I gotta surf other forums to get updates and shit on device hacks... so I'm real glad LJ (who is insane) started this thread..

But I digress.....
1. On the ringtone tip...... let's post up what we rocking..... and um... i will soon as I get finished here... they on my desktop and I ain't home ....
a. are you running full songs or portions thereof?
b. what format? mp3, wma, aac, ogg etc..
c. what length (if not full song)
d. How do you get them? (make them, buy them, receive them)

I got a Tilt and find that I can't send MP3's to the phone from email via mms... or I can't share an MP3 ringtone to others with Tilts via mms... anyone else experiencing this?

2. How many Ladies on here tweaking their phone?
MEEEE :)

3. Last one.... is there a reg hack to make Windows look in the storage card for ringtones, seems the default is the windows folder.....

Preciate any feedback...

I;ve used flexmail ever since i switched over to WM. Its a bit slow at times. I guess it depends on the device. A new version of Flexmail is coming soon. Right now its in beta. Try it out and see how you like it.

whats good folks...havent been here in a while havent had a need to put anything new on my tilt...been using that internet sharing joint like crazy....

so whats new?

Yo did you get that Extended Battery you showed us off Ebay?
If so, how much weight did it add?
And, is it so much larger than the original that it increases the footprint size of the device?

Preciate the share....

same here...bout to cop one of these bad boys(http://search.ebay.com/3000mah-tytn...ssPageNameZRC0021?_trksid=p1638.m120)...after careful research and reviews I found over on xda-developers...this shit will solve the battery issues.

I got the battery yesturday and charged it up...(they recommend charding it for a full 12 hours although it charges up in an hour as the stock battery does) I'll give a full review probably tomorrow after a full day of testing. So far though I've been playing music for the past two hours and its only down to 80%...with the stock battery it would be at least 50%. I have now changed my email setting to check every 5 minutes instead of every 60 minutes so we'll see how that goes

BTW i decided not to buy it off ebay...I bought it from this site http://www.talkietech.com/attih89mupoh.html since shipping was free and it was locally shipped.

On a side note I also bought an 8gb micro SDHC storage card to replace my 2gb and my tilt saw it with no issue...on the other hand XP needs some drivers to see it and you will need a sdhc card reader...my current card reader does not see it

?uestion...i just got a moto q9c....used to have a ppc6700 so i'm kinda familiar with these apps, but will these same apps work on the q9c since its windows smartphone edition?

This is a website that lists a ton of mobile websites.

Good Find! Thanks

most likely no because ppc are touch screen devices and wm smartphone edition devices are not so in general most of the app in this thread will not work. But do some research on any app you are interested as most have a smartphone counterpart and we can help you find those....two good places to start are ipmart and c4pda websites

Here is a good pic(not mine) of what the phone will look like with the battery

Surprisingly it did not add alot of weight at all and it fit perfectly in my holster:

I was going to add to my review but im going to wait until i've finished with the 3-5 battery drain cycles. I did 3 cycles over the weekend and the past 2 days or I've been putting it through a 'regular usage' drain for the fourth cycle. So far the battery is performing well. I took it off the charger @6:53pm Sunday and the phone has been at 30% battery power left for the last 2hours and probably will not go completly caput until this evening

It all depends on what you want to put on your card and carry with you. Me, I have a 16gb sdhc. On it i have, music, movies, porn, ebooks, documents, backups, etc. I also have a 4gb CF card where i keep all my pics and gifs. So it all depends on what you want to use it for.

PhoneyCall - a fake call generator which allows you to simulate incoming phone calls to get out of sticky situations.

PhoneyCall comes with pre-recorded communications sounds, or you can create your own. So not only will the fake call ring on your phone, but you can have an interactive chat with the fake caller. For a bystander this sounds even more realistic!

How much did you pay for your 16 gig? I want to have something that replaces my iPod when I don't want to pull it out on the road.

Coreplayer is not showing youtube vids on my HTC, what's up with that?

You have to go into the settings of coreplayer and change a few things.

1. Click on menu then click on tools.
2. Click on preferences then select page
3. Then click on network...Click on enable network access and enable youtube interface.

Username should be corecodec

That's all you have to do to watch youtube with coreplayer.

damn this some nice shit can the palm get some love in here looking for a gps for palm centro peace
