how much yall pay per week for gas?

Its about 40-45 bucks to fill my tank up, but i can go as long as 2 weeks if i don't make any extra trips anywhere.

I drive an X5 and it costs me about $75-80 a week. I've had it with this gas shit. I'm selling that bitch and plan on buying a more fuel efficient car. Have my sites set on a Toyota Solara.

somewhere between $300 - $500 and then ontop of that i have to wait a week to 3 months to get paid depending on the company whose freight i expedited their billing cycle.

so yea if you'd take a look at my debit business account all you'd see is exon, mobile, bp, shell, amoco, 7 days a week.

sometimes 3 to 4 times.

lately ive been using my van to do most of my deliveries and its 80 bucks to fill the tank With REGULAR FUCKING GAS!

lets bot even speak on the box truck which uses diesel and to think about it i wanted to buy my own rig...ha!

thats 200 gallons of sweet diesel @ 5 dollars...WOW.

It's killing me fam, its either that or take the loooooooooooooong way around on 635 :smh::smh::smh: and burn even more gas, a nigga cant win lol

Hell yeah when the toll on George Bush went up from .75 to $1.00...shit shit pissed me off cuz I was driving down that mufucker everyday...that will add up quick...and 635 can kiss my ass!

I drive a 91 Q45 with a 19 gal tank, and that bitch runnin' a young man damn near $70 to fill up, but I work downtown, so I park at the metro and take that good subway ride to preserve that gas

About 70 every 2wks.

I honestly need to learn to slow the fuck down, I'm hurting myself deeply. Just got back from NY it's fucking raining like a bitch and I can barely see yet I'm switching lanes like a idiot, on some DMX shit. I could have had a near full tank instead of being under half right now..

Ya'll be careful with those puddles on the sides if you headed out, especially if your shit is FWD.

How does not letting your tank get past half full help? My mom has said she does the same thing but i dont see a difference in filling up when i get on E as opposed to filling up at 1/2 it all balances out eventually.

$40...I live about 10 minutes from my job but taking the bus would make it 49 minutes and riding a bike I haven't tried yet. We'll see what happens this summer though.

Motherfukin $85/week to drive my f150 to work...shit costing me $12/day to drive to work

You niggas riffin about tolls going from .75 to a buck? man fuck ya'll niggas.

Start bitchin when tolls to go over the George Washington Bridge go up too $8 dollars way and the city bridges and tunnels at $5 bucks each way. Don't get me started on the Varrazano bridge at $12 bucks one way.

Fuck are you talkin about? :hmm:

well the tollS are every 5 to 10 miles or so, i have 4 to pass going to work, 4 to pass coming home....with toll discount thats 4x.75cents ( instead of a dollar if you have the toll tag) 3 dollars each way, so 6 bucks in toll to go to work and about 10 bucks of gas each day :smh::smh::smh: but it aint nothing on that $12 buck toll you talking about :smh::smh::smh:

tell em son, these fucks are crying for a .75 cent tax.

i go to jersey twice a day...TWICE!
thats 16 bucks with the van or 24 with the truck if i go thru manhattan and tke the tunnel both ways.

if i go via the George Washington Bridge ( which is free when leaving NY ) i still have to pay 5 buckks on either the triboro, whitestone or throgsneck bridge to get to the GWB.
now when i am in NJ i hve to pay toll to use the turnpike which has like one each Exit.
then to get back into NY i have to pay 8 bucks at either the tunnel or the GWB and spend 2 hours in traffic.....FUCK THS SHIT!

1993 Volkswagen Golf 1.8 liter engine! 6 Miles to my work place, 18 dollars a week! Now my wife...:angry: 55.00 a week for her Altima.

Phaeton $95, Mazda6 $66 G35 $80 :itsawrap: I'm selling the mazda6 and g35 damn I wish I didn't have to sell the G:( but I'm going to replace them with a 2005 Honda Civic Hybrid that should get 39-43 MPG and a 2005 Toyota Prius that should get 48-53 MPG. Crossing my fingers so the deal for these cars goes through ok:D

Great thread.

2000 Toyota Echo

Gas prices in Canada are terrible though, as everyone knows. We're at $1.27 - $1.32 a litre, so that's hovering in/around $5.00/GALLON.

I drive the least amount I possibly can in comparison to years ago. Fortunately my main job site is 1.3 miles away. So I can walk there or push the car real quick if I'm runnin' late. My other sites are 3.1, 10.2, and 11 - 11.5 miles away only. So I can push a $41 - 43.00 tank for about 17 - 20 days. Or ... 21 - 25 days if I'm lucky and working more at the place slightly closer to home and walking there. Fortunately the city driving nearby has minimal stoplights. And when I'm going to the places which are 10 - 11.5 miles away ... it's primarily freeway driving (and I'm 2 minutes from the freeway entrance) ... so it's a good quick spin for the carburetor and it's easy driving too as I mostly work nights and afternoons, and don't have to deal with the bumper-to-bumper bullshit whatsoever.

38 bucks every 3 weeks or so.

  1. I have a small hybrid
  2. I live a couple of blocks from work
  3. I live in neighborhood w/ dozens of stores, restaurants, bakeries, butcher shops, boutiques, bookstores, movie theaters etc...

When I relocate, that figure will go down to zero because I'd never again live in a city without an extensive of municipal/regional rail system.
