Why do folks use Rapidshare when Megaupload is better/cheaper & doesn't delete files?

First off, you know there is porn inside. Just because I don't have room to put [Porn Inside] doesn't mean that it's not in here.

Fuck Rapidshare, come on over to Megaupload

Why download 5 files when you can just download 2 or even 1 file?

Recently rapidshare went bitch and instituted a 20 GB limit. If you had more than 20 gigs on their site and a file wasn't used in 90 days it got cut. I once had 1487 files on Rapidshare...now I only have 1386. They cut over 100 of my files and that is only since I have been looking The have deleted 30 in the past week! I have several ongoing threads, plus contributions I made to the 80's & 90's music threads, I have been a member since 2006 and they just up and my delete shit like that?

I signed up for Megaupload and Rapidshare at the same time after I returned from Kuwait. I had a shitload of porn & music and I wanted to share with the group. If I had a 257 MB file, that would be THREE total files (two 100 MB files and a 57 MB file) on rapidshare OR ONE 257 MB file on Megaupload. Since I uploaded both large and smaller files I use both. Rapidshare is more popular, but IMO megaupload is better.

I uploaded so much that I have a free year membership. My membership is literally good until April 2009 and I'll get another free year at the end of this one at the rate I am going. Rapidshare has a 20 GB limit before they start killing your files, Megaupload has a 250 GB limit! Plus, you can upload up to 600 MB files on megaupload, where on rapidshare they have a 100 MB limit. Who wants to download 6 files instead of one or three?

As far as organization, megaupload allows you to sort by file name, size, date uploaded, or number of downloads while rapidshare only has date uploaded or file name.

I have all of these ongoing threads that rapidshare has killed links in. If ANY of my links are dead, make a note in the threads and include the post # (for example this post is #1) and I will re-up it as soon as I can.

Below this list is what you could get on megaupload. All you have to do is steal porn from other boards or blogs, download it, then upload it like it is your own right here on BGOL (Note: DO NOT steal porn from BGOL and repost it on BGOL. That shit is rude)

Im starting to have a problem with rapidshare as of late. Everytime I do a batch download and try to unzip them, I keep gettin corrupt errors. If its 3 files then no problem but once its like 20 or so files always an error.

Im starting to mess wit megashares tho. They are cheap too and their limits are more lenient than megaupload and rapidshare.

That's simple. There are more multi-thousand dollar software downloads on rapidshare. Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, I can get free porn anywhere. Adobe CS3 Master Collection, Final Cut Pro, etc. are a bigger draw.

I downloaded some collection of 1000 hits of the 80s off RS just the other day. The download comprised 60 .rar files, and that shit downloaded like a champ in one fell swoop.

the reason rapidsahre files get deleted is becuase someone is snitching. someone is snitching because rapidshare is the dominant file sharing host. bigger than everyone else.

if alot of people were using megaupload as much as rapidshare i guarantee you they would be deleted. but nobody is really.
but i dont complain. i just download off whatever is there.

since joining bgol i signed up for both rapidshare & megaupload. I bought a platinum membership with mega which is a lifetime membership (no matter how much you upload) your files stay active for the duration. So i have to agree with the original poster megaupload is the way to go

WinRAR is very good at splitting files into 100 mb sizes. If you have a huge porn file say 700 mb and you want to break it down into 100 mb chunks AND you have WinRAR installed just right click on the file and scroll down to "Add To Archive" and left click. When WinRAR opens up use "Fastest" in Compression Method. In The "Split To Volumes/Bytes" box type the number 104500000 and hit "OK.". That's 99.8 mb. Your 700mb file ill now split into 7 100mb pieces for upload to RS or Zshare

Rapidshare has been giving me problems lately. But come on, megaupload aint touching rapidshare! It would be good if I were only downloading porn, but I dont really download that much. I can get everything with a rapidshare account, just by simply searching google. Movies, Albums, Software etc.
