^^^ I like the previews. It means I don't have to run all over the place lookin up shit. It also adds to the flavor of this thread.
 
I was going through my old books and I just have to say Grant Morrison's run on The New X-Men was awesome. I know this might be a sin, but I feel like Morrison's run has to go down as the best stint on any X book.

Also going through my books would anybody have a Marvel book called Identity Disk? I have only two issues and it would be sweet to see how it finished?

PS. What are you guys thinking about the SpiderMan book? I read One Last Day and thought it was horrible, but I wondering what people think about this reboot? Does it make the book more enjoyable and readable?

don't know who Grant Morrison is....but i've read the whole New X-men series... if u said some comic numbers, then i could co-sign or not.

Never heard of 'identity disk' either (guess i'm not as enthused as i thought i was)


the new Spidey...i know most maufuckas on here hate on it...but i buy them and i'm good with the storyline, although it's ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE. i don't know..i guess i'm just a Spidey fanboy...whadayagonnado?
all bullshit aside, i think the NEW DAY shit looks so fucked up because the original storyline by J. Michael Straczynski was phenomenal, the angry, fuckin' people up, Spidey was tight as hell...everybody just wanted Aunt May to die so it could REALLY get him over the edge...shit ain't happen and the New Day shit popped off...big let down...people were going in to the New Day shit with a fucked up attitude anyways....

The original stint of New X-Men title came from just X-Men title. It started at issue 114 through 156. Grant Morrison is going to be the writer of DC's Final Crisis (correct me if I'm wrong with this?). On his stint he created the Weapons program (which was a bad ass concept), introduce Fantomex character (another bad ass. What happen to him?), and Xorn...I won't spoil that! If you can find the copies of this book it is well worth the read...
 
Grant Morrison wrote New X-Men (#114-154 and Annual 2001) do not confuse it with New X-Men which was cancelled and now is called Young X-Men

** Marvel retconned the whole Xorn thing so, i dunno if the twist is worth it anymore :(

Sorry about that by the time I was done even I felt I went a little overboard with it:D. But the reason i put this up so that if some one new comes in to the thread or some body that does not want to download every think at least will have a preview of what to come or whats Linker has put up already, plus I don't put up everything just preview i think every one on the board might like :cool:
