I will say it does seem like a silly way to deal with conflict, if she is purposely holding out sex because of an argument that ensued earlier on. However, if it was an extensive, heated argument that really got underneath her skin, she may simply not be in the mood. I haven't had a reason to hold out *yet*, but I imagine that women who have done it did it because their emotions were still very strong after the argument.
