The footwash takes place in Uniontown Ala. not far from Selma. It takes place the 4th Sunday weekend in Sep. every year. Its in a huge pasture in the middle of nowhere and is roadblocked by police to get in. once in everything you ever heard of takes place. And everything is for sale. The original beginning was not religios as most people think. It was a community fund raiser to bury the dead when the family had no money or ins. all the roads were dirt and the footwash was actual because of the walk with no shoes back then.
Most of what everyone said is accuate. Fuck with BHam though, UAB(University of Alabama-Birmingham) has mad chicks. Come through to Bham on the weekend, there's a first FRiday joint that be havin mad chicks. Sure the A is close, but your money is gonna go a lot further in BHam (drinks, admission ot clubs, restaurants etc). Listen to the radio and find out whats going on, either 107.7 or 95.7.

yeah, footwash is in uniontown which is about 2 1/2 to 3 hours from huntsville(huntsvegaz)...if you looking for a gig in the technology field then hsv is the way to go...we are #2 in forbes and the 3 fastest growing metropolitan...for ya'll military cats, BRAC is bringing 8000 jobs to the city...this is the town that everything regarding missle defense is located in...ya'll look up Redstone Arsenal if ya'll need a litlle background....but jacksonville is about 1 1/2 drive away...not too bad. the weekend of sept 4th, a&M is playing tenn st...lawd have mercy...
