FANTASTIC FOUR #556
ff556.jpg

That’s the problem with Utopias – they’re all-too-often built on a foundation of human tears. When an organism designed to abolish war is set into motion, and it decides that the only way to accomplish its objective is to eliminate anyone who could possibly pick up a weapon, there’s only one foursome to turn to if humanity is going to survive!

THE LAST DEFENDERS #2 (of 6)
LASTDEF002.jpg

The Defenders are back -- Nighthawk! Colossus! She-Hulk! The Blazing Skull! -- and they've got their very own state to protect and serve (just don't call 'em "new", True Believers)! The Sons of the Serpent have moved in and only one fully-sanctioned team of super heroes can stop them! But will their first official mission end up as their FINAL mission? Believe it or not ... yes! Not to mention guest-stars galore in the must-have superhero mini-series of 2008!

:lol:this mofo is suicide bombing the suicide bombers..... I have officially seen it all with Logan:lol:

I see your point but Marvel has made me cynical.

Secret Invasion 1 was good but thats how all of their events start.

They start off hot as hell, die down in the middle, then the end is like:confused:.

You must not have read Annihilation to be saying all their events end on a bad note. People throw around that shit cuz of the end of Civil War and WWH. DC ends events just the same. Reality-altering wall punch in Infinite Crisis? Amazons Attack<-- the whole event was shitty. You should be just as jaded with DC's events.

GREEN LANTERN CORPS #23
04_09previews_19.jpg

Some of the best and brightest of the Corps - including Kyle Rayner, Soranik Natu, Ion and Guy Gardner - are sent on an urgent mission to locate and destroy missing Sinestro Corps Rings that remain from the Sinestro Corps War. But Mongul has a different idea on what to do with the Rings!

Hulk did but Namor wasn't one of the ones who sent him to space. Namor was the only Illuminatti member against it and Hulk found out so he didn't go after Namor.

Cosign.

Namor TOLD them niggas that the Hulk would come back and do what he did...

I always hear about Annihilation. I guess I should give it a shot.

And I just started giving DC a chance because I've been reading Marvel all my life.

So you may be right, but I don't know.

But I liked Infinite Crisis and the Sinestro Corps War.

But 52 was boring as shit...

Amazons Attack^^^ It was one of DC's events last year that was pretty much a critical and financial failure. Countdown was also a failure as an event (although as a comic is was financially success). 3 more weeks to see how it ends. When it boils down to it most events will end poorly because the ending people want to see is generally one that would shake up the status quo too much. Civil War shook up th estatus quo but people wanted blood that they weren't going to get. The same goes for WWH. I can't believe how many people actually thought or were disappointed by the fact that Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic weren't KILLED or that Hulk LOST.:smh::smh::smh::smh:

Well I know Tony and Reed aren't gonna die so I see your point.

Folks hate those two like they hate Marlo.

But I still think the Hulk got dealt a wack one.

WWH 5 was just wack.

As was Civil War 7 (6 was MUCH better)

WWH dissapoint me because Hulk came back to earth with a mad on and vengeance in his mind he was pissed the fuck off
suddenly he wants the heroes to fight and kill each other

Civil War
after 7 issues Cap simply bitchs out of the whole thing?
c'mon man

only 2 events that didn't dissapointed me were Annihilation War and Messiah Complex

Co sign on Messiah complex.

That shit fot me interested in the X-men again.

And as far as WWH, Hulk made them fight each other so they could go through what he went through on Saakar.

Now Cap in Civil War 7:smh:

I could understand Cap bitching up, but there was no lead-up. The shit just happened.

Thats why I think people were like WTF???

cosign. But i wanted his death to be worse than that. Fuck i cant wait til next issue
2m6o39j.jpg

I like how they trying to imply Rick might be a zombie. But I think it's something else. Anyone notice how every time Ricky does something of questionable morals, they black out his face?

1. Shooting Dexter
2. Shooting Allen
3. Basically allowing Tyrese to be beheaded
4. Almost beating that dude Thomas to death

Go back and check the previous issues and you'll see what I'm talking about.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

it was the tear. I can see Cap giving up what would be a pointless fight that would do more harm than good. But the manner in which it happened was pretty terrible. The tear man. Damn. It reminded me of that episode of MArried with Children when Al Bundy was doing those commercials with the fake plastic tear on his face.:lol::lol::lol:

I know this has nothing to do with what you were talking about, but is it me, or was that NWA World Belt the ugliest wrestling belt ever created? I see why Flair said fuck it and bought his own shit.
