Well in the New Avengers: Illumanti there was an issue devoted to the Beyonder - Where he was still doing that 1985 "Secret War" thing in some part of the galaxy. I think they are going to say that SOME characters have been sleep cell skrull since then.
I know from jump if they play some BS about certain character it will have many reader jumping ship for sometime.
Some characters - well we would like to believe - just can't be mimiced: Thor, Molecule Man, Hulk and some others.

I think since they saying that this is a religious quest for the skrulls it probably has something to do with that. I betcha it goes back to one of there first appearances and something that someone from the fantastic four said. you know they hate Reed Richards, and I was just about to get happy to see Luke Cage ( PowerMan back in action with his gay ass yellow shirt but his Head band is Upside down, Thats Skrully to Me!!
