there is definatley a place for them in the industry because there is a serious lack of classic male rnb groups

He filled the slot with a quick ass fix. 112 was a group. A REAL group. They had a sound, a image, cohesive vocals, loyalty, etc... Diddy took the best dudes he could find on the street and put they ass on tv and said there it is. He already caked off on the TV proceeds alone. This album is a write off at best. If it sales...IF...he will laugh all the way to the bank. But there is zero promotion for this album. Just like DK's last album.

i havent heard the album...but i watched the show..the guys have nice voices
but i will admit i dont htink they have the same chemistiry as 112...or jagged edge
They got nice voice but they have no blend and no sound. It's a bunch of solo dudes told to sing a few parts here and there. You know when you hear 112 harmonies. You don't even have to ask. Same with Jagged Edge. Hell dare I say Dru Hill??? These dudes don't have any type of distinctive blend.
Just a bunch of dudes going for theirs. They got some hellafied writers and producers though!

I'm rooting for them, but I think Danny got the best deal as a solo artist and that's not saying much because they are all on Bad Boy. Diddy hasn't done anything for his artists in a long ass time. Hell, if it wasn't for the board, I wouldn't know who the hell Cheri Dennis was.

I like them live better than together. But if Diddy actually gives them a chance I think they will get goin. Definitely better than Jagged Edge. Lamest group ever.
I like them... I also like Danity Kane.... I think the boys don't have the chemistry that DK has, but I definitely hope they succeed because like someone said, we are lacking a real male r&b group... As far as promotion, the show in itself is promotion, he generates at least 1 million viewers... plus they talk... word of mouth is the strongest promotion. I didn't even watch the male season, but I knew about their song from my little cousin, he dl'ed it on my laptop... But I def. agree that Diddy isn't looking out for his artists.... had this conversation yesterday, but I think he knows which artist the public are going to receive well and does invest in them... others suffer because of that...

craig mack - was never any good, but had what two albums?
sammy - had that one joint with the chick from total in the video - too young for you.
total - 3 albums and done.
keisha blount - don't know if she ever came out.
cheri dennis - had title song from making the bad, which never came out as a single.
the band - who the hell knows

That pretty much sums it up. Diddy is the only one who has ever had success and longevity with Bad Boy. I always heard that Biggie was planning to leave at some point to start his own thing. If he would have had that opportunity he probably would have taken allot of people with him. I always thought of Diddy as a great businessman and entertainer, but that's where it ends. If I was in the music biz (as an artist), I'd work with him, but I wouldn't sign with him for the reasons listed above...

Talent wise they have a shot. However if the word on the Bad Boy label they signed with is true and it seems likely, their future is very unsure. The fact is they it's up to them.

Mike - fat guy, slightly above average singer...looked a hot mess on 106th and park.
Q - average singer...the women like him...he's kind of an idiot for going with Dawn...he should be at a position where he can say "ladies, I'm single"...really has no charisma
Willie - can sing, the women like him, has strong charisma and swagger...has a chance to be a star.
Brian - can "sang" but can't sing...short, dingy-looking young man, has a pot belly, had poor cardio on 106th and starting to sound like absolute shit... will wind up going to jail for beating up...
Robert - probably the best singer in the group...is annoying...weird...overly sensitive...rubs me the wrong way.
Nah..this is their last album...Willie's gonna be a star, though.
