I know I'm all late with the shit and I don't get on Live that much, but for what it's worth my gamertag is Nemesis2736 (simple). I don't have a lot of games. I actually have 2 games that I haven't even played yet. But the one game I'm stuck on is FlatOut Ultimate Carnage...I fuckin love that game!

I'ma have to take NBA 2K8 off my list of games to play online. Do muthafuckas even WATCH basketball? Every single game, here's what my opponents do (I win the games, but it's still annoying as fuck)

-go for a steal with the point guard every .9 nanoseconds
-they get called for a foul for aforementioned action
-on offense, instead of letting point guard bring ball up court, they pass it to their best wing player, dribble the length of the floor, and constantly tries to drive

The argument "well if it works why stop it" doesn't apply to me, because again, I'm not 'whining' because I'm losing, I DO win the games, it's just annoying as fuck playing a sports sim that barely resembles the game it's modeled after.

One question, any of you 2K8 players ever play a person who actually THROWS IT INTO THE POST and tries to work the ball around? Or are you one of the people who play exactly how I described?

Eh, it's just annoying, I try to play a regular NBA paced game, but these stupid muthafuckas play that shit like they having dialectic seizures, whether or not that's a real condition or not.

Guess I'll keep my shit offline.

thats the problem with online games, someone will find a glitch then everyone will try to abuse it, you gotta come with counters for the cheese

alot of those kids will just get the rebound and throw an outlet pass for an easy basket, if you play some reasonable defense anything can be stopped in this game

adjustments are key, thats with anything tho

My game is perimeter based. I push it up court and prefer easy baskets but i do run some halfcourt sets if i must.
